Congratulations on getting your BP up and running. You're right about the
keyboard being a lot nicer than the new laptop keyboards.

To you questions about T-Word. Sounds like received the really old tape
version ... one of their first versions ... of T-Word. Yes ... the URII ROM's
T-Word is a WOW! In fact, the entire ROM is a winner.

What do you mean "if" I'm still selling it. Excuse me!!!!! I manufacture that
ROM and it is a major player in the catalog. Besides, doesn't the catalog say
I'm supporting Model "T" computing through the year 2003? It ain't 2003 yet
... so order the ROM with confidance. It comes with a complete set of manuals.

Since your ROM will be going into your BP, you will need to remove one of the
RAM chips. And, to do this correctly, you should offload all your data and
pull the power jumper to disable all battery power to your BP.

You can not just pull one of the chips. The entire RAM area is controlled by a
file that gets created upon booting the BP for the first time with whatever RAM
is installed. That file leads directly to all file allocation table and
directory information. You pull one chip and all the data on your BP goes bye
bye ... NOW!

I know I have your book here, someplace. I recall glancing through it a long
time ago. I can't say I remember much. I'll have to go find it to refresh my
memory. I must tell you, though, I am still working within an amazing
overwhelm.

At your service ... -Rick-
