If you want to see the roadster during the painting stage, the frame,
suspension and wheels are at All-Pro in Pittsburg, getting powder coated in
Ford Mocha. The body and radiator cowl are at Bill Reasoner, Custom painting
in Walnut Creek, getting primed and painted in Acrylic Ford Camen Green. The
motor and trans are at my place in Pleasant Hill, being detailed in gloss black
Rustolium, polished Aluminum and chrome.

If you want to help put it all back together, I will be picking up pieces all
next week and doing reassembly. On the 9th I drive it To Okley for upholstery
in tan cloth, valore, and nagahyde at Fred Dias's place. Fred is a long time
friend and past owner of Concord Auto Upholestry on Market Street--now owned
and operated by Fred Jr.

But if you're going to chicken out and just want to see the finished product...
perhaps while it's being pin striped by Herb Martinez... come to the Goodguys
'93 West Coast Nationals, Pleasanton, CA (at the fair grounds) August 20 - 22.
The Goodguys West Coast Nationals is the biggest & best rod & custom event on
the west coast. You'll see over 3,000 rods & customs (thru 52), over 200
manufacturers and suppliers, arts and crafts, model cars, pedal cars,
entertainment, and Edelbrock valve cover races. What more could ask?!!

It's up to you... -Rick-

Oh, by the way... if anyone is interested in street rods and hot rods, the
Danville Dukes (the car club I belong to) meet at Max's Cafe in Danville every
Saturday morning at 8am for breakfast. Men only. Women not allowed. Max's is
located past Danville on Crow Canyon Rd, on the East side of 680.

Oh, by the way 2... an exclusive feature of Port Chicago's Loading Dock is its
auto-orientation with free classified advertising (featuring auto, rod, bike,
and auto events categories), auto graphic downloads (with more to come), and
coming next year, the PCLD Rod & Custom Shop with lots of interesting and
useful auto-oriented items for sale, along with some suprises.
