In reply to your message... > I know that my internet request was laughable; No it's not. That was a great question asked my several others ... especially not that Model "T's" being reborn, i.e. appreciated for their simple values. > however, I've created a valuable need for my model 100 > and had hope that someone out there was still supporting > it in that fashion -- sort of a retro-fit. The M100SIG on Compuserve may still hold value and CIS is still accessable at 300 baud. If you choose to join CIS and enter the M100SIG, post a message to Mile Nugent (I don't know his CIS number but that's easy to find). Mike and I are good friends and he, more than most, has a handle on Model "T" resources. > I am curious if you keep track of your members who, > like me, are not programmers but have a common interest > in the use of computers in their field. Again, good question. Yes, I keep a ton of detailed info on each person so as to reference for support, and no other reason, but records about their interest is beyond the details. I will tell you, however, that less than 5% of our thousands of members program anything. The biggest use of Model "T's" world wide is writing ... just plane, old stick-in-the-mud, grunt-it-out, jot-it-down ... writing!!! Oh yeah ... todo lists are big, too!! :)
