Subj: HARDWARE WRITEUP,ARTICLE FOR M100?

Rick, In my data collecting travels, I've come up with an idea for using the
cassette MOTOR relay in the M100 family to turn on and off the TPDD under
software control (with a custom cable and a little hacking to put a 1/8" phono
jack in parallel with the TPDD's normal on/off switch). This would be useful to
anyone who wants to record stuff remotely while saving TPDD batteries.
I was thinking of passing on what I learn, after I get all the bugs out.
(Debugging includes figuring out how long to wait between setting MOTOR ON and
writing to disk, etc.). Hardware hacking would be minimal and could be done by
anyone who knows which end of a soldering iron to pick up.
I suspect some citizens of Club 100 would be interested, but I was also
thankin' that I could get rich and famous (hah!), and have fun too, by going
the extra mile and writing it up as an article to _Model_100_ (with 8 x 10
color glossy photographs with circles and arrows and...). So here's the
question, oh M100 industry guru: Would many people be interested in such a
hack? Would _M_100_ be interested in such an esoteric hardware article? If
so, should I just call their editorial number and ask? They don't seem to have
a blurb of "instructions for writers" in the mag itself.
