Sean: I read your words with concern. Frankly, I can't say if you fried the machine ... doubtfull ... or it simply has a lose cable to the LCD. I will forward your message to the best possible contact in this matter, Dr. Tracy Allen, EME Systems, Berkeley, CA. His number is 510-848-5725, 848-5748 fax. Perhaps he can assist. Tracy is simply super at diagnostic and repair. In fact, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND "anyone" having Model "T" problems, contact Dr Allen as your "first" event. FYI: For those interested in data collection, EME Systems offers a complete line of data-logging devices ... many of which use the Model 100 or 102 as their processor. Lastly, to your question about spending $150 for your Model 100. Did you spend too much? No. You did fine. However, I will give you an idea that may put $$$ in your pocket. If you look around, you will discover lots of Model 100, 102, and 200 computers in your area. You can usually pick them up for $0.00 to only a few bucks. You do not have to educate the owners as to their "real" worth. Then, clean them up, make sure they work really good, then put them up for sale on this BBS. I might be interested, as well, depending on what company is interested at that moment.
