Howdy!
My brother, Bill Luker, suggested I run my questions by you. He also
asked me to say "hi" for him.
I have a model 100 with extra memory (21K, I think), and the portable
disk drive with 101K single sided disks. I have UR-2 and TS-DOS.
What I do not have is the documentation. I was relying on my Tandy
6000HD which just died. My model 100 books are in storage in Michigan. So
what I need to know is: 1) Can I edit a file on disk without having to
load it into RAM? I have to create several documents which will be 30 to 40 K,
and I'll need to be able to search them, and sort. 2) Can you run down the
meaning of the function key labels for TS-DOS? 3) Do I need to keep
"Floppy.co" in RAM, while I have UR-2?
I appreciate your help. It sure is a bummer to be in the word business
without my main machine. Any suggestions you have will help. Thanks! Bye!
