Rick, I used to use a Model 4. I've since gone to MiSeryDOS and now on to a
Macintosh. I found telecommunications the best way to save Model 100 programs
to the Model 4, mostly since tape is such a pain in the butt. However, I did
successfully use the Model 100 tape reading program on the Model 4. Frank
would not be able to do this with a 4P, since the 4P has no tape port. Either
way, one has to save the Model 100 program to a .DO file. The Model 4 cannot
read the tokenized BASIC programs of the Model 100.

I've also seen programs that can save the Model 100 programs directly to the
Model 4's disks, like LAPDOS does. This is in respose to another message you
put out.

The old Model 4's command line interface is much better than MiSeryDOS. It was
a pleasure using it. However, I need more computing power.
