My highest recommendation is to ALWAYS practice safe computing, i.e., place
your computer in a plastic bag before using it.  Don't use the bag more than
once.
 
If you keep as little in the machine as possible and always keep your stuff
copied to auxiliary storage your risks are greatly reduced.  Certinly, periodic
cold starting of the machine won't hurt but regular use of the CLEAR0,MAXRAM
routine is a good idea.  Without getting technical--yeah right, as if I
could--at the very least constant saving of data and clearing your computer
ingrains competent computer use.  -Rick-
