The 102 is thinner and lighter then the 100, and has a bit longer battery life. The 102's function key layout is easier to use. The 102's system bus is on the back edge vs. under the keyboard (100). The 102's 8-bit high character set has a few, minor difference ... mainly the placement of some of the graphic characters ... this is no biggie. The 100 and 102 differ somewhat at the interrupt level but nothing that really matters at the user level. Other then the above, the 102 plays all the same programs as the 100 and uses all the same periphrals except those that connect to the system bus. Model 102's cost me a whole lot more money then the 100's, thus their sale price is much higher ... if I can get it, of course. That's about it. -Rick-
