Clarence: I just got home and noted your message to me in the MailBox but I moved it to the Conference where others might assist you as well. Anyway... here are my responses --- > does anyone know how get a printer to print 80 across instead of 40 across. i am using a dmp 132. All micro-computer oriented printers boot up with pica (10 chars per inch hort, 6 lines per inch vert) unless your dip switches are set differently. I gather that the problem is not your printer when you say, "80 across instead of 40 across." Do a <shift><print> then respond to the 40 on your screen with 80 before you hit <enter>. --- > the manual doesn't give a clue You're correct! (grin) --- > when i send chr$(27):chr$(14) for double size i get a sn message. Yes, you would get an error. Leave off the : character and place the command LPRINT at the front end LPRINTCHR$(27)CHR$(14) --- > hope your timeoff was productively fun. Not really but thanks anyway.
