RE PG Design 256K RAM addition

I have just bought a used 256K RAM PG Design and have installed it OK. I did
not get the casette tape with it from which there should be MENU.BA but I did
get a 25 page manual. On page 22 it gives a single line programme "BANK.BA"
which I have typed in and saved to bank 1 (original 32K bank). When I run
BANK.BA I can go to the other banks. Over the system files Basic, Text,
Telcomn, Address, and Schedl function keys F1 - F8 are labelled Bnk1 - Bnk8.
Over non-system files
.DO, .BA, .CO etc Bnk1, Copy, Kill, Name, Lfof, and Exit are shown as descibed
for MENU.BA the 'Data Transfer Utility Program". I assume that in the
accessory chip next to the 256K RAM there is a copy of MENU.
My problem using SuperROM in the ROM socket or sometimes when switchng
from bank to bank the 100 locks up completely and I have to make a cold start
and reload from casette DSKM.CO (disk manager) which I have been using instead
of FLOPPY.CO. This runs OK from bank 1 after loading DSKM .CO via a basic
programme to clear mem first. On page 13 they recommend a modification of
FLOPPY.CO after several POKES so it does not conflict with MENU.BA. Would I
have to do a similar modification to DSKM program?

Any help getting more use from the RAM expansion from other owners would
be appreciated.

I have other model 100's and would like to expand their RAM also if anyone
has a used and working unit they wish to sell. I am looking forward for the 4
x 32K extRAM unit to come out.
