Subj: T200 PASTE BUFFER

Everyone else may already know this but here's something I discovered just the
other day. If you go into basic on the Tandy 200 and type clear 0, maxram or
clear 256,maxram you not only clear up string space but you also wipe out your
paste buffer. Try this:

Go into text and copy something to the paste buffer. Now go into basic and type
"Clear 0,maxram". Now go back into a text and try copying from your paste
buffer by hitting paste. Nothing happens, whatever was in your paste buffer is
gone. Odd huh? I thought the paste buffer was a hidden file with a strange name
and the only way to empty it was to select cut or copy from text without
actually marking anything. I use to do that regularly because I didn't want the
paste buffer taking up memory I needed to use. Now I realize I was wasting my
time since I long ago created a 29 byte basic program that says "0 clear
0,maxram:menu" and I run it all the time to make sure I have all my memory
freed up.

Just thought I'd let everyone in on it. Like I said, I'm probably the last one
to find this out.
