Hello Rick - I just had to pass the news along to you... I was able to find software for the PC which, after it was properly configured, could read the PICdisks that I haven't had access to for six years... Of course, this "proper configuration" of the software took no less than a day to work out, with the sector ordering, sector size, number of sectors in an allocation unit, number of allocation units, etc, etc.. But, I got it to work. I even was able to load up my old NEC BBS program (yes, I'd run a BBS off my NEC utilizing three 32K ram banks for about two years before I got my first IBM-compatible). Anyway, it was your original message that prompted me to search the Web for a CP/M disk reader that was capable of doing this. Thanks! Gary "An Even Happier NEC user" Weber
