Subj: REPLY TO MSG #4009 (BAR CODE READERS)
You might want to re-read my reply to Frank--the one with the "scum-sucking, etc." and see if you can figure out exactly "who" I'm referring too, and what services that person may offer under the table, so to speak. Afterall, there's only one person on this BBS that I have full rights to slam, ridicule, and otherwise poke fun at. So, what brain-less, scum-sucking, low-life, good-for-nothing, lazy, nincumpoop I'm a talking about? (wink) In response to your PCM comment, yes indeed, I'm not too crazy about the politics at Falsoft, Inc, publishers of PCM. I pulled all advertising out of that mag over a year ago due to the way we were treated. They (PCM management) used to be much more open to Model T support; and PCM Mag from the premier issue (circa 1983) to about 1986/87 reflected that openess and support. In fact, I enjoyed PCM better then Portable 100 for many reasons during that period, but alas, the fun went bye bye. Today, Club 100 will be the fun place because that's what all of us want; I included. I want the club to be a club; an enjoyable, informative, mind-dumpping, relaxing, learning experience or just-for-fun place to visit and know you're welcome and wanted. And, just in case you're interested in what I like about the club, I'll tell you. I enjoy organizing things. I like the feeling of having everything in the right place; complete; accessable. That's relaxing for me. So, when Frank mentioned barcode stuff I started thinking that, indeed, the entire subject of Model T barcoding, allthough a very, very small interest area, was never organized. He got me thinking, "Now there's a project I'd be interested in organizing up." So there... -Rick-
