Hi, Michael, Boy, have you hit on a point of my interest. UNFORTUNATELY,
TDD's mostly run on 5-bit baudot and are inaccessable to BBS computers. There
are programs to make a personal computer "talk" in 5-bit baudot, and there are
TDD's with ascII mode.

So, what does this mean and where can we go from here? That depends on what
you're trying to do. FidoNet has a conference called SilentTalk (I carry it on
my ohter BBS at 510-827-0804) and the above HAS been discussed for the past 2
weeks.

Again, what are you trying to do? Maybe I can help in some other way or at
least keep giving you support. I'm HOH myself and ASL-sign the songs at our
local Metropolitan Community Church.

Wish I could give you more info right now.

Hope to hear more from you soon. I check all my boards daily, so I'll reply
quickly. sk sk
