A nobal concept, i.e., investing profits (true profits) back into the common
good. And, in fact, many companies do just that--to a certain extent.

Insurance companies, for instance,--the good ones--invest profits into capitol
assets. Capitol assets, in turn, provide the tools for industry. Industry
hires people. From another angle: insurance funds are also avilable on the
secondary money market for home loans--both construction and take-out
financing. This helps the construction industry thrive and families into
housing.

We live in a very complex world. In order to "know" if the "profits" from a
given industry are reinvested for the good of the people, we must follow the
cash stream back to the sources; all the while understanding and comprehending
the entire river as it flows. I took a class called "Money and Finance"
towards my MBA. It was a real eye opener; well worth rethinking again and
again. Very complex. -Rick-
