Subj: REPLY TO MSG #136 (DVI)

Ah... a fellow teacher. I've taught for Columbia College on Treasure Island
since 1982, and for CC at our new campus at FCI Pleasanton, for 3 years
(Federal Correctional Institution). My normal class load is 3 classes of
Information Systems per term. I'm very steady at Columbia College.

I spent 3 1/2 years as Associate Professor at San Jose State University, 6 1/2
years as trainer at Persidio San Francisco, and taught graduate school at John
F. Kennedy, Golden Gate and The National Hispanic University. I've taught at
several colleges in the SF bay over the years, as well.

I never gained tenure track at any of the institutions, which is why I am free
to paly in the commercial area. It's probably best, anyway. I'm not a team
player and tend to speak my mind regarding educational politics to anyone at
anytime.

Civil Law, huh. I recall my business law class at Hayward State during the
70s. That was probably the best class I ever took. Still use the concepts
today. So, how's Ohlone College? Where, exactly, is the campus? -Rick-
