Hi Frank... thanks for the message... let me see if I can quickly cover the
bases for you.

I'll look for your fax tomorrow. Frankly, Frank... I get so much mail, e-mail,
faxes, and letters that I tend to miss things, or set long questions aside for
another day--a few months later--that getting back to folks is getting pretty
tough. My first priority is getting orders out the door, then comes my other
businesses, then family, then coorispondance, other then e-mail. Sorry for the
delay.

And thank you, Frank. Glad you like the BBS, too.

extRAM and XR4 fit inside. The Boostr Pak is a second bottom to your laptop.
Yes, SuperROM works in all of these. It's easiest in the Booster Pak, then the
XR4, then the extRAM.

The extRAM is a 2nd RAM bank that may be used as a RAM bank or for option ROM
operations (either, or but not both at the same time.

The XR4 is like having 4, extRAM's. Each bank may be used as a RAM bank or for
option ROM operations. You can mix up the banks as you see fit, i.e., two
ROM's and 2 RAMs, or 1 and 3 or all 4 one way.

The Booster Pak is a RAM disk storage unit that provides option ROM swapping.
The system ROM's in the pak include TS-DOS.

Lapdos II works just fine with the extRAM or the XR4 but Booster-Link
(Desk-Link) is best for the Booster Pak. I carry all of these items, including
the RAM's, Booster Pak's, etc.

Sorry, but the old, horse-shoe shapped RAM devices are long gone.

A whole lot of folks are rediscovering their Model T's--yet, another reason I'm
so dog-gone busy these days. Besides, I now advertise in Editor & Publisher
Magazine. All the news agencies around the world read that mag and they are
all calling me for phone/modem cables, printer cables, used Model T's etc.
It's great! But I am very much behind in my work.

I hope my reply helps. I'm just finishing up e-mail for the evening before
hitting the sack--been on the computers since I awoke this morning. Don't
bother with resending your fax. Seems like you've got a good handle on
e-mailing on the BBS. I can reply much quicker here then faxing--but faxing is
a second best method for e-mailers; 1st best method for non-e-mailers. -Rick-
