Subj: REPLY TO MSG #412 (NICADS IN M100)

Dear Bob,
The voltage from a nicad has nothing to do with the size--AA, C, D--it is
always just about 1.2 volts. And that is near the "low-battery" threshold for
the M100. However, I recall that I used to use AA nicads im my M100
successfully. M100s vary in their low-battery threshold. By popping the back
off, I can modify the threshold slightly so that you could use the set of 4 AA
nicads.. The batteries in the power pillow (alkalines or nicads) will last
practicall;y forever then. Instead of a 4.5 volt threshold, I could set it to
4.2 volts. You buy me breakfast at the Westside-I do it, hey?
