Hey Jim, how are you doing? I log on this afternoon and there you are. Yes,
your picture (thank you for sending it) is one of only a few we received. That
looks like a pretty neat set up you've got there. I loved the comment, "Here's
looking at you guys!"

Lapdos is nice. It will allow you transfer files back and forth between your
DOS machine and either your Model 100 or that TPDD2 I sold you. File movements
are smooth and fast; and all file types are movable, i.e., .DO, .BA and .CO.
Yeah, Lapdos is pretty neat.

Preparing a message offline for sending online is VERY simple. If you're going
to be pushing an ASCII file via protocol #3 (note protocols offered when you
are prompted for prepared text--say yes and see the protocols) then you want to
make damn sure you've got no blank lines with nothing o them in the middle of
your text. The best way is to all a couple of spaces on any blank line. The
only blank line you want is at the very end to bring back the edit line so you
can <S>ave your message.

When pushing an ASCII file (.DO) from a Model 100/102/200 you select protocol
#3, then tap you <F3> function key (UP) and hit <enter> 2 times in succession.
Just let'er fly. Don't preset the line length.

That's it. After you send one or two, sucessfully, you'll be an old hand at
it. Good luck... -Rick-
