Dear Rick, I just picked up an HP95LX for $299, after the $100 rebate. It was a once-off deal at the "used computer store" in Berkeley. Personally, I'll use it mostly as a fancy calculator. It has a very neat "solver" built in that you can load with files of equations. It is _not_ a good computer for typing, for words. The keyboard is tiny. It has a "notepad function built in, but that is about all I'd want to use it for. I hear that some people have been running Word Perfect on it, but I think that is silly, just to see if it can be done! I'm also interested in programming this baby as a data logger. It is definitely a "serious" machine, in a totally different class from the "organizers". I have a MAC serial cable for it, but there is no "connectivity pack" like for DOS machines, where the DOS machine runs the same applications as on the 95LX. You could get soft-PC for the Mac, and then use the connectivity pac, but that's too hard -- Tracy
