----- David: The device is called RAMPAC. The RAMPAC comes all ready to go, i.e., 256K RAM (nothing to add), and its own onboard operating system, callable from your laptop. The RAMPAC costs $179 + $3 s&h (the catalog forgot to mention shipping). The RAMPAC used to be manufactured by Node Systems, Grass Valley, CA, but, as of March/92, is now manufactured as a joint venture between EME Systems, Berkeley, CA and Club 100, Pleasant Hill, CA. Club 100 is the primary marketing outlet. RAMPAC can hold files of all kinds, i.e., .DO, .BA, .CO and ROM images transferred to it via programming that comes with the extRAM. Use of an extRAM and a RAMPAC for multi-ROM image swapping is fast and fun. RAMPAC connect to the system bus of either a Model 102 or Model 200. Model 100 owners must use our RAMPAC adaptor cable ($20). This cable connects to the Model 100's system bus under the keyboard and extends along the bottom and out the back. Attachment is via duck tape, or whatever is available to hold the cable to the bottom of the Model 100. Hope this answers your primary RAMPAC questions. Please feel free to explore other questins about RAMPAC. -Rick-
