Rick Hi once again from the Evergreen state. My wife had to work this weekend, unfortunetly, but this did give me time to mess with both of my computers while I was alone in Vancouver, BC. LapDOS works fine and dandy. Once I bought the proper gender changer, I had no problems running both my T200 and the PDD with my DOS machine. The only problem I encountered was of my own doing. I'm sure that it is printed somewhere that trying to operate the PDD while it is sitting on top of a monitor is a no-no due to EMI from the monitor. When I tried to log to the PDD the drive light would come on but I would get a "No disk in drive, or unformatted" error. Once I set the PDD on the desk near the keyboard I no longer had any problems. Concerning switching banks while in LAPDOS.BA. I assume that I need to have a copy of LAPDOS in each bank and I would have to "Break" out and switch using F1. Is this correct? My first practical use for LAPDOS was when I took my Model T to work and created some test questions while sitting at the comfort of my desk. We don't have enough money for a lot of desktop computers so it is a pain to get on one. After writing the questions, I hooked the Model T to a printer at work and generated the hard copy to get my boss off my back. I then took the Model T up north to my wife's place and used LAPDOS to dump the test onto the A drive and then into WordPerfect for sprucing up. Monday morning my boss had in his hands a prettier copy of what I gave him on Friday. I like it. Well, take care for now and thanks again. Sincerely, Rich P.S.: If you want, post this for all to see as advertising for LapDOS.
