-----
Sure, Rick. Glad to explane Lapdos II functions. Let's see now, where will I
start? Generally speaking, Lapdos II facilitates the movement of .DO, .BA and
.CO files to and from a laptop device connected to COM1 or COM2 of a MS-DOS
machine. This means that you may connect any of... Model 100, 102, 200,
NEC8201A, TPDD, or TPDD2... and read/write/erase/rename/format these devices
with Lapdos II.

TPDD and TPDD2 connection is via the existing drive cable and a simple gender
changer (female/female) since the connector on the cable and the COM ports are
both male connectors.

Laptop to DOS connection requires a null-modem cable with cross pinnings on
both ends. Additionally, Lapdos II comes with a program called LOADER.COM,
used to pump a TPDD-emulation program into your laptop which when run turns
your laptop into a slave peripheral, i.e., TPDD emulation.

Control of operations is done from the DOS computer via a split screen with the
DOS files on the left and the laptop files on the right. File transfer is at
19,200 baud. A simple menu allows you to change storage devices and
subdirectories, copy individual files, wildcopy groups of files, and a few
other nice features.

Lapdos II is fully supported by Club 100. This means that I, and others, will
assist you in using Lapdos II as necessary, as well as give you a complete
money back... including shipping... if you are not satisfied.

As an added bonus, I will "personally" make your cable at the next meeting
right in front of your eyes; complete with soldering pen techniques, 3rd hand
placement and use, parts layout and assembly, wire modification, custom pin out
placement, hood installation and bench test. What more could you ask?

Lapdos II comes on either a DOS formatted 5.25" or 3.5" disk for just $39.95 +
$3 s&h (if shipped - $0 if picked up). Cables come with a special thin-hood
(c) on the laptop end and either a 9 pin or 25 pin connector on the DOS
computer end. Cables are 4' long. $17.50 + $3 s&h (if shipped - $0 if picked
up). Lapdos II comes complete with a manual. The cable needs no manual.

Hope this helps and thanks for your support! -Rick-
