I think you hit a few points worth talking about, Mike, i.e., 1) Response to
conference messages, and 2) Use of database applications.
 
The score is this: less then 1 out of 7 Club 100 members use the BBS, and less
than 1 out of 10 add to the information stream.  Many more read than write.
That is just the way it is.
 
I am not surprised at low database application.  Model T users mostly use TEXT
and nothing more.  Broad or extensive personal computer use is not a way of
life for most.  Again, word processing is the number 1 personal application.
That's the way I see it.
