Rick,

Thanks for your response. Although it doesn't seem to cause a problem (at
least on the M100), perhaps I'll try reloading it from one of my slower
machines.

The info your gave me earlier regarding Lapdos on a 486 was checked out, and I
found you were right on the hard disk size. I have a 130 meg drive, and it
won't copy something onto it (it thinks there's no room left), but it will copy
things from the hard drive. With regard to the TSR's, I
removed everything, but it made no difference as to whether Lapdos would
recognize the M100. I have McGee's Automenu running on the 486 with Lapdos as
one of the choices. At 33 MHz, what usually happens after pressing the key to
go into Lapdos, is that it quick jumps into the program, gives the message that
the 'portable drive is not responding,' then exits and returns to Automenu. I
discovered that I could just press the appropriate key in Automenu three or
four times, and it would then recogize the M100. This all happens so fast,
that it really isn't too big of a hassle. Sort of like speed dialing.
