FANTASTIC! LAPDOSII! I've bought 3 programs since owning my 1400FD/HD
including LAPDOS II and this is the easiest one to learn and use. It took me
about two hours to skim the manual, hook up the connectors and get stuff from
the M200 and the PDD into the MS/DOS.
However, I do have a problem: the DO files, of course, come across perfectly
and intact. The .CO files however bring all the bytes into the DOS but I can't
read them. I have 5 years of spreadsheets I really need to get into the 1400.
I tried naming them .WKS for Deskmate 3.03 and get a blank spreadsheet. I
tried naming them .DOC for the Deskmate Text program and get hieroglyphics. I
had hoped to spend the next couple months in the Florida boondocks (no phone)
transferring and updating the spreadsheets. I've just re-read the SYLK chapter
in my M200 Multiplan manual and suppose I could call up the spreadsheets from
the disk to the 200, save them back to disk as SYLK then put them into the DOS.
Do you or anyone in CLUB 100 have any hints about this?
   Hopefully.........Cliff Baker
PS That's really a great bulletin you sent with the LAPDOS II manual!
