Thanks. I will review what I said that was so good! (grin)

Actually, the biggest problem I have right now is "telling the story" for each
of the products. It's not easy. I rewrote the 1992 Catalog 7 times and it's
still not right. Since then, I've been working on the "detail sheets" with
about the same success. There are so many things that folks just do not know
about; like ASCII, or RAM vs. storage, for heaven sake. It's like having to
rewrite the basics of computer operation, use and application each and every
time. It's driving me crazy and taking too much time away from production.
But, on the other hand, it has me thinking about the actual level of skill and
knowledge in our country. There remains a very large need for basic skills
training. In fact, so large that it could be enough to build another business
upon.

Back to the case at hand: All last week I was on the phone almost constantly
with printer problems, disk drive access, and just laying out documents for
printing; not to mention Lapdos operations, i.e., 2 COM 1 ports, basic DOS
commands, root directories with absolutely everthing in it (no
subdirectories)... and plenty... and I mean plenty of people who never read the
manual before calling, or didn't read, or even SEE!!!, the help files I placed
on the distribution disk. It's driving me crazy!!! And, again, it has me
thinking. Thinking very seriously about the next phase of Club 100.

I'd love to do video. Video's might be the way to go. Video might be a great
way to show how something is done, or how products are used. Of course, I am
very sure that someone won't know how to run the video in their recorder; or
ask questions like, "Do I have to set the time on my video recorder before I
can play a tape?", or "Do I have to turn it on first?, or "My VCR doesn't run
DOS. How can I use it to learn about doing a DOS thing?" Hey! You think I'm
kidding??? -Rick-
