Subj: REPLY TO MSG #5419 (DISKETTE CONTROLLERS)

I don't recall having seen a disk controller for the Model 100 that didn't run
off the serial port.

The BASIC keyword table contains DSKI$ and DSKO$ at 5073 and 5071, pointing
to RAM vectors FB2E and FB30.

The routine from 7304 to 7326
references ports 70 through 73, which could be wired up at the expansion
connector. It loads three numbers (drive number, track, sector) to output
ports and loads a specified number of bytes from an input port.

The routine at 767D to 770A is a bulk output routine, referencing ports
80,81,82, and 83, which also could be wired at the expansion connector.

The variables LOF and LOC are provided, with RAM vectors at FB28 and FB2A.
Circuit diagrams for parallel input and parallel output circuits connecting to
the expansion bus can be found in "Inside the Model 100".
