---- Donald: I'll work on answers to your other questions, later today--it's sort of busy right now--but will answer this one, now. > I AM WORKING ON DOWNLOADING FROM A TEXT FILE IN MY 102. > WHAT DO I ANSWER FOR "WIDTH" IN THE UPLOAD ROUTINE? First off, downloading means "coming to you." Uploading means "coming from you." So, if I understand you correctly, you want to "upload" a .DO file to this host system and want to know how to respond to the "width" prompt. The answer is . . . just hit <enter> . . . don't respond with a number. This true with messages and ABSOLUTELY true with program uploads--which must be saved into a .DO file before uploading. Since I raised the issue, saving a .BA as a .DO is easy. Start the .BA running then break it (CTRL C) or (SHIFT BREAK). At the OK prompt, simply enter SAVE"filename.DO" and hit <enter>. At the OK prompt, once again, tap your <f8> function key to exit to the menu, and you will find the ASCII equivalent of your .BA program. The extension will be .DO. -Rick-
