Thought you used ESP-Mail on me Rick. When I arrived home after ordering BoosterLink Friday evening, there it was in may Snail-Mail box. Man, you're fast! Actually Rick, I need the BoosterLink cable. So just send a cable and consider the deal done. I understand you want a test bed and I'll give it workout. Today (Monday) I used it quite a bit with my own Nul-modem cable which is not built like the CompLink cables. but just loops control to status (e.g., RTS-CTS) at each cable end. You see, with one of your CompLink cables I may find that LAPDOS works better than with my simple cable. So keep the bucks and send me a CompLink cable. If it has only one head at the PC side, make it a female DB-9. The cable described in the BoosterLink document sounds very handy - having two heads at the PC side: DB-9 and DB-25. At any rate, BoosterLink (aka DeskLink.COM) is having no trouble with my simple cable. Today I'm using it in Windows95 and for those interested here are the "properties" of it's "shortcut": .
