That's a great story... so typical of today's environment.  The Apple Powerbook
is quite a machine but it, like all the other modern laptop computers--comes up
short for portable power.

Most people just write things with their portable--or keep various lists, like
names, parts, todo list, etc.  Some keep spreadsheets, or presentations, or
pre-made contract blanks but few need desktop power in a portable.  However,
the marketplace must advance.  Hey... we wouldn't have our Model Ts if the
marketplace did not advance in the 1980s.  Right?

Thanks but I'm not the smart one... you are.  You know the difference between
the past and the present, and choose your tools appropriately.  -Rick-
