Mike: When Traveling Software sold the Ultimate ROM II for $250, many years ago, they included TS-DOS disk to compensate for not having the View80 program--included on the 100/102/NEC8201 version. When I picked the product line up and discovered the various differences I decided to just lower the pricing to something reasonable across the board. This decision precluded including TS-DOS with the ROM. But again, the pricing is well in line, now, allowing choices. Money is no longer the major issue it once was when configuring your system to the tasks you have in mind. The Ulitmate ROM II is once again, Ulitmate, now that Sardine is back. Included in the URII menu are two calls to disk-based programming, i.e., TS-DOS disk, and Sardine disk. It's a nice combination, indeed, but may or may not be the right combination for you. Just because these toys are once again available does not say you "have" to buy them all. I would rather have start thinking about putting your laptop to work in service to you and your company, etc. then to buy tools for the sake of buying tools. How's that for a retailing philosophy? -Rick-
