Hi, gang - now logging on again from the U.S. Been working in Mexico for five
months and we are TIRED! Saw the eclipse from Cuernavaca. I imagine some of
you folks saw it from the Baja - pretty astounding, right?

Couple of things: Been using my Model 100 down there - had to leave the big
desktop at home, but am impressed more than ever by the Model T and the URII.
The main thing I missed on the big desktop was its faster modem!

Some small glitches, though:

1) When printing to a RAM file using IDEA!, I get a whole column of control
J's along the left edge of the file. Any suggestions? Have tried naming the
RAM file with and without a .DO extension, but no luck.

2) When in the T-Word Files menu, you can call up a file from disk by hitting
F-3, but you can only access files on bank 0 of the disk. Is there a way to
access to files on bank 1 from this menu?

3) I found out something the hard way - perhaps this is not news to many of
you, but the CONFIG.DO file for URII absolutely has to end with a CR. I was
going bats one day and couldn't get a document to print when I stumbled across
this fact. Somehow, when altering my CONFIG.DO file, I had deleted its final
CR. Just thought I'd pass that on.

4) Along that line, I also noticed the cold start routine at the end of the
manual for TS-DOS is missing a comma - right between PRINT#1 and CHR$ etc.
Again, this may be an old discovery by now!

5) And finally - not a glitch, but a question: does anyone know what QLINK is?
Is it a file transfer program? Is it on this BBS! (Sorry - haven't looked
yet!)

Thanks, everybody - Paul.
