You can get a quick reference for DOS quite inexpensively that has a complete
list of commands and their syntax, etc.  In fact I have one in my archives for
DOS 4 that you're welcome to.  I'm using DOS 5 now and don't need it.  The
manuals with 5 are pretty comprehensive.  I'll send it with the disks.  As for
the path seperators, back when I was using a dual floppy, semi-compatible clone
and DOS 1.0 back in 1983 or so I was able to change the path separator from \
to /, because that key didn't require a shift combination on this machines
keyboad like \ did.  I don't remember how it was done and don't know whether
it's possible with newer versions of DOS.  I haven't seen anything in print
about this little trick since.  Jon.
