Subj: HOUSE BLANKET

Rick -- About that house blanket for protection against fires... isn't there a
device for firefighters like a high-tech sheet of protective stuff that looks a
feels like mylar that firefighters carry and can put over themselves if caught
in untenable fire situations? Did I read once about someone being spared this
way? If it's small enough and light enough for a firefighter to carry, seem to
me like the idea could be adapted to use as a house cover. Recently saw a house
tented for termite extermination along SF's Great Highway
-- the idea could be adopted by extermination companies as an easily deployed
"tent" -- I don't know anything about how they deploy those "circus" tents over
the house to fumigate, but with the lightweight stuff, seems to me like it
might be deployable like an automobile airbag! Instantly... Just some randumb
thoughts... -bc
