Subj: REPLY TO MSG #774 (TS-DOS RIPOFF)

Rick, I apologize on the tone of my message, I know what a great service you
provide to the Tandy portable users. I've always prided myself in my ability to
take a program apart, and find a way to enhance or improve it. I was simply
taken aback at the relative simplicity of the TS-DOS ROM internals, and I
ASSURE you, I have absolutely NO intention of burning a pirate eprom of
anyone's original creative programming. I have very definite ideas about
software theft and unauthorized reproduction. I simply wanted to inquire
whether perhaps Traveling Software was charging you an exhorbitant license fee
for such simpkle and dated software. If more companies would accept resonable
periods for legitamate profits, and then release dated software into public
domain, more used computer owners, and users of dated machines that the
original sellers have abandoned would be able to enjoy their machines to a
fuller extent. I have a large library of PD software for all 3 of my computers,
and without it I would not enjoy the ease of use, or the joy of programming
that I do. I appreciate the access offered to your library section, and as part
of my apologiy, I will not access it until I send you the $12 access fee that
you deserve for providing the valuable service you provide.

Thank you, and again, I apologize, Tim mihulka
