---- Hmmmm... > I didn't make myself very clear in my last post. The menu problem doesn't have anything to do with uploading. The menus are screwed up from the moment I first log on. That's okay . . . sometimes we need to banter things back and firth for a few messages until we communicate. To this end, let me throw a few ideas at you for your consideration... Idea #1: System designers, today, cater to the 80 column, 24 line display. They assume that everyone uses that presentation--or they frankly cater to that presentation, only. In either case, their decision is fine--given the current market. Thus, perhaps what you call "screwed up" could simply be a case of odd wrap-around. But then, I can not see what you see, unless you capture the screen and upload it here--it's ASCII so that "will" work. Idea #2: Another idea could be "system timing" between your Model 102 and the host. Perhaps the host or the host modems do not support XON/XOFF flow control. If this is the case, you may issue an XOFF, not seen by the host, then when you issue an XON you have missed characters sent during your XOFF to XON period. This condition is most prominate when communicating at over 300 baud on a Model 100 or 102. The Model 100/102's LCD is a 600 baud device, thus 1200 baud operations via an external modem can bring strange results. ---- Work with these ideas on that "offending" host (grin) and report your findings. Hope this helps... -Rick- PS: So, this place is a "blessing" huh!? Okay . . . like I'm a munk or something . . . cool! This could become a . . . habbit! Go now, and compute in peace! Naaa . . . that't ain't my style.
