Subj: LEARNING THE 100

This is the third try to upload this message, so I hope you don't mind the
several blank messages you may have gotten, all titled "learning the 100". I'm
new to the T100, so I have several questions. 1. What are the two sockets under
the access panel on the back? One has 24 contacts, the other has 40, I think.
Is one RAM and the other ROM? Can I use both at once? 2. Why have some called
the Multiplan ROM "naughty"? How is it different from, say, Lucid? Are any
still available for $20? That's all I could afford now, anyway. 3. Why is
Lapdos II better than using telecom an the 100, and the terminal program on the
desktop machine? 4. How much is the Power Pillow? 5. What is bubble memory,
where does it go and how reliable is it? 6. What could be going wrong with
saving and loading programs on tape? I cleaned the contacts, got the leaderless
Tandy tape, and got something on the tape but never got it loaded back on the
100 successfully. Thanks!
