Subj: DEAD KEYS

I had a thought about your response to my dead keys problem. As I said, my
Model 200 is usually at home, hooked up to an AC adapter. Last week, I had the
unit out of the house nearly all week, and I connected it to the power pillow I
purchased from you. When not hooked up to the power pillow, it was bagged up in
the carrying case with just the usual internal batteries (double AA's and the
in-unit nicad) to keep it going. I left it disconnected from house current for
a few days, then brought everything back in and hooked it up. That's when I had
the problem. Think the switch in power sources might have been a factor? On an
unrelated topic, I get a line of computer gibberish at the top of my screen now
when I sign onto your BBS. Is this because of the changes you've made? It
doesn't interfere with anything and quits as soon as the system ID line rolls
up. Thanks.
