Dear Jim,
  I don't think Tandy was ever too interested in products developed for the
M100 or for the WP2.  They would be interested only if you could talk 10s of
thousands of units sold due to that product.  They are a big marketing
business.  I guess that was the jist of Ed Juge's comments on M100 sig.  They
discontinued the products based on a hard look at the investment/return ratios.
There never were many WP2s around, partly because of its lack of hooks for
programmers to do anything with.  But the M!00 is still around, a lot, because
so many of them were made.  It is still easier to find and buy a used M100 than
it is to find a lot of computers that are still "in production", but will never
achieve the market penetration of the 100/102.
