Taking it by the numbers, again...

 > Ok. Is the procedure explained in any of the files on this BBS?

Yeah, sort of. I've gone over this several times in the (1)Conference but its
buried in the message base. However, my explanations have always been with
using a Model 100/102/200 not an NEC8201 cause we have so few NEC users in the
club compaired to the others, and even fewer online.

 > What download protocol would I use, ASCII, Kermit, Xmodem?

I know for sure that ASCII is always available. Again, I've got this "never
been used" set of NEC user guide and reference manual sitting here. (hint hint)

 > Also- can the cable for the TPDD2 be used on com2?

Of course. You simply use an adaptor, ie D25F/D25F or D25F/D9F, depending on
your COM2 connector-type.

 > Does the cable also attach to the PC8021a via the RS232c connector?

"The cable" in your question I read as the TPDDs cable, attaches to the RS232c
port since the TPDD is a serial device.

 > Can LapDos II be configured for Com2

Yes!!!

 > I really dont have a use for the book, unless you know of a
 > complete M200 system for sale?!?!?!? Cheap?

I have a Model 200 sitting here and was going to ask $400 for it but will
gladly sell it for $325. It's in excellent condition.

You may sell your book in the (2)ForSaleAds area. That's why I built that
area--so you guys can buy, sell and trade to your hearts content without
interferrance from myself.

At your service... -Rick-
