Had something strange happen the other day. I had a disk I got free that had
some demo stuff on it to run on the IBM PC I use at the office. I didn't want
it, so I took the disk home to format and use it with my Portable Disk Drive 2.
After formatting, when I tried to check it through TS-DOS, TS-Dos had been
blown out of the memory, and I couldn't get into BASIC either to restore it.
Finally had to cold start the machine and go from there. Blank disk works fine
now, as does everything else. Lost no data in the whole process, but it was
certainly strange. Any ideas as to what happened?
