----
May I jump in here, please. When any of us--including myself--logs onto this
BBS (TBBS v2.2), the host displays all messages waiting for us by name and
where they are stored; it then asks if we want to read the messages, now. This
is to say us time, hunting out all the messages waiting in all the places they
could be waiting--on this BBS there are only two places, i.e., MAILBOX and
CONFERENCE. I like to keep things simple. I'm just pointing this out...
trying to be helpful.

Another issue: Downloading from either the (4)Library or (7)Uploads area is the
same. Yes sir, wild cards are acceptable. For instance, you could first set
your protocol to ASCII with P A <enter>, then D for download, then B3OF9*.* to
get all that matches the first 5 characters; regardless of the rest of the
filename or the extension.

Again, I just happened to notice your message to Frank. It was in the MAILBOX,
had elements that others might find useful, and did not contain anything I
deemed to be confidential--that's one of my responsibilities--so I moved it
into the CONFERENCE, then replied to the benefit of all who read herein.

Hope this helps... -Rick-

PS: Of course, please e-mail if you find that something doesn't work the way
you think it should, or doesn't work at all. I am only too glad to jump in and
assist. I'll do my best.
