Do I ship quickly? I try! I will certinly ship yours as quickly as possible ... but then I'm working on a lot of order now and shipping many of them quickly, as well. I'm not going to sell you the 64K RAM cause it will not work on your Model 102. It's for the Model 100, only. The software for the Bar Code Wand is here, online. See the (D)ownload listing in the (7)Uploads area. Regarding some how-to's... When you use your SuperROM, you'll want to use the TS-DOS on disk to save your files to your new (I'm sure you'll find one) TPDD or TPDD2. If you just want to use TS-DOS, then using the TS-DOS ROM would be best. Swapping ROMs in and out of your Model 102 is easy ... but ... be very, very careful taking the SuperROM out. The manufacturer, PCSG (Portable Computer Stupid Guys) did a lousy job on the circuit boards where they contact the pins on the Molex option ROM socket. You might want to take a file and round the top corner-edge (just the corner-edge on the top) of each pin-cutout so when you pull it out, the edge will not catch on the ROM-socket's teeth and bend them all to heck! Regarding the price of the TPDD2. Please take the time to read my words correctly. I said nothing about "cheating" anyone. In fact, I was just informing you for the current "range" of prices that would be fair to you and whomever you purchase from. That's all. As for negotiating a fair price: My price is set on the drives at $85 for a tpdd2 and $65 for the tpdd but others will gladly negotiate with you ... and you "should" negotiate for the best price you can get. In response to: > ... e-mail me at ... keep my phone bill down ... I appreciate your concerns about your phone bill. Believe me, I have, over and over again, for years, addressed the cost issue. And, as a mail order company, I used to spend over $3,000/month on long distance phone costs. That was a log time ago. These days my bills run 1/10th that. I use EXCEL as my long distance carrier. Trust me: Switch your long distance carrier (AKA Dial-1 service) to EXCEL. Just do it! I will be doing a special mail out this month to all who have done business with me in 1996 (you're included). In that mail out will be a letter of explanation, service request form, and a brochure about EXCEL. As for e-mailing you at your internet e-mail address, I may do that in the future but not from within this service. The Club 100 BBS is not connected to any network. Frankly, with over 100 messags daily, I find it hard to just reply to everyone within 24 hours via whatever mail system they choose for contact ... and paper mail almost always gets thrown into a box. Okay ... that's it for now. I've got to get back to work. Thanks gain ... -Rick-
