Like it? I love it. I'm sold and will E-Order BoosterLink this session. As I see it, with BoosterLimk running on the PC and a COM-to-COM cable (probably more than a 3-wire nul cable) "ANY" program running in the Model T that can tickle the COM port the way a DOS does will see responses which parrot those of a physical TPPD. So the 756-byte D program (I uploaded here) will work as would more sophisticated programs like TS-DOS. I've got the disk version of TS-DOS v4.0 as well as ROM2/Cleuseau so all I need is the COM-to-COM cable and the BoosterLink program and info regarding invoking the "TSLOAD" part of ROM2/Cleuseau which I assume is stated in the BoosterLink documentation (not in ROM2/Cleuseau manual). My TS-DOS manual mentions the other ROMs (all Traveling Software products) of which I own none. I've made my own relocating version of the TS-DOS code (DOS100.CO) which gives me all TS-DOS functions without any TS-DOS files (TSLOAD or DOS100) wasting Menu slots or double-dipping my Free memory. Likewise for the small D program. These versions serve as one of three services in an Op system that likewise wastes nothing. The other two services are for RamPack and file compression. The Op system survives cold-starts (I use ROM2/Cleuseau a lot to poke around) which makes my life easier. Bottom line for me then is that the COM-to-COM cable and the PC-based BoosterLink program are all I need. The rest is gravy and for only $25 it's very tasty gravy. Now where is my new credit card?
