For 12 years now, it has always amazed me that a company serious about selling
electronics and computers could make money by staffing their stores with so
many people that just don't give a hoot. I recently found a R/S manager who
shocked me by helping me to find some M100 parts. His staff don't know anything
more about the things than the Samsonite monkeys, but he impressed me. He even
pointed out that I could save $6 by using a different power adapter (was buying
one for a trip). Most R/S people wouldn't do that.
. So, I'll get to the point. How many of you have found a knowledgeable R/S
salesperson or manager and where? I travel quite a bit in the Midwest and East
and I'll give those people my business (and let them know they're doing a good
job).
. My point is not to whine and moan about the ones that just punch their time
card and get paid. I think the good ones should get recognition.
