Ron, Was interested in your comment that Pentium is overkill. I built a 386DX from spare components, mainly to see if I could do it. Could have built a 486 but decided to keep things simpler and appropriate to what I wanted to do. (Also use Model 100, of course) Now, today, a 486 is considered "low-end". Am fighting an upgrade to a Pentium, even if I could afford it. Seems a never ending battle. The only thing I'd really want one for is for more efficient access to the Internet. But I even wonder about that... Seems one could spend so much time and energy upgrading computers and software every coupla years. Next year it's Win96, then WinNT, new software for those, besides which Internet by PC may become moot anyway as it comes delivered by cable tv cable in the near future. Seems we're gonna lost the "P" in the PC. Care to reflect on this? Or is this what your book is about?!! TIA, ... Paul
