Actually you can use a direct mode KILL statement, rather than make and Run a BASIC program. Use the following statement directly in BASIC. F$="KILL"+CHR$(34)+"I.DO":KILLF$ All that's needed is to form the file name from hell within a string variable. That way, BASIC doesn't delimit the name by way of quote signs because the LEN of the variable is the delimiter of string length.
