I don't know how important static protection is when working on the M100 but I
would guess it's less important than for the M102.  I can help with protection
of your soldering iron - attach a jumper wire with alligator clips between the
metal shank of the iron and the ground foil of the M100 circuit board.  As far
as protection for your hands - just touch the ground foil of the M100 circuit
board FIRST and then touch whatever part you want to handle NEXT, preferrable
while you are still in contact with the ground foil.
