Subj: REPLY TO MSG #4803 (LOST DATA)
---- Wes: Let's see if I understand the problem. You went to transfer data from your Model 100 to your DOS computer, using the old method of uploading the file via telcom on the Model 100 and a communications programming running on the DOS computer, and pressed the <f2> downlaod function key, instead of the <f3> upload function key. If this is above is correct, you're SOL ... sort-a out-a luck. Go back to the library and redo your work. In the future: Take along a remote storage device and store to that device at times when you feel it's absolutely necessary. Also, uploading via the old way requires tapping the correct function key; but don't worry, you're not alone. I did the same thing way back when, before Lapdos II. Lastly, you might want to consider purchasing Lapdos II. It not only eliminates the old way to transfer files vut opens the world of .BA and .CO file transfers, as well as group file transfers. At your service... -Rick-
