Subj: TEXTP.100 BY JAMES YI

Saw note to Tony about TXTOVW.100 and it reminded me about another James Yi
text enhancement that has a minor flaw. See Library, Text, files TEXP.DOC,
TEXP.100 and TEXP.200. This is a nice one which "extends" the built-in TEXT
application with up to 9 very useful features, including an Insert/Overstrike
toggle. Per documentation TEXP.DOC, you can alter each of 9 Install Y/N
options in transient file TXPCFG.DO so as to only consume memory on a per
feature basis. In the case of files born out of TEXP.100, I find that
Insert/Overstrike option must be Y to avoid a flaw. In other words, a flaw
occurs if you don't specify that Insert/Overstrike is included. Not that bad
considering this feature is likely to be installed by most folks. It's just
another little nagging flaw in another fine James Yi program. Seems that James
always puts a tiny flaw in every program - wonder why?

Because TEXP is far superior to TXTOVW.100, maybe you could entice Tony to
first find this little flaw. It may be related to that flaw in TXTOVW.100 and
thus we get both corrected.

Regarding corrections to stuff in the Library, someday I'll remind you about
corrected programs I uploaded way back when you were the Librarian. If you're
gonna' do some Library updates, please include these corrected programs.
