Subj: DISK DRIVES

I just learned that the disk drive sold >here< connects to the Model 100 via
the serial port. This fascinates me, because I own 4 computers, and there
isn't a disk drive amongst them. Besides the Model 100, my other computers are
handhelds made by Sharp. Two of these have an RS-232C adaptor. Since I am a
programmer, I believe I can write a disk driver for them. :-)

My question to YOU, dear reader, is are you aware of ANY other disk drive that
communicates sole via the RS-232C port? I had heard rumours that somebody
(used to) make such a device for the Apple MacIntosh. Any news of if anybody
has seen or used these drives, or wrote a driver for the Model 100, is greatly
appreciated.

Also, if somebody would let me know if the technical information available for
the drives available >here< would be sufficient for me to write my own driver
program on my Sharp pocket computers.

Thank you, one and all.
