Subj: REPLY TO MSG #6252 (ACCESS)

Welcome aboard, Doug. You are now registered on this service and a member of
Club 100. I will mail you a catalog. Allow me to address your questions and
concerns.

 > I found out about this board via the Internet.

That's nice. I've heard rumors; something about an internet thing. Please
tell me exactly where you discovered our information.

 > I couldn't seem to find anything online about how to send you the $12/year
for access to the library. Did I miss something?

Okay ... allow me to show you were it is. The (4)Library menu to non-library
access members looks like this:

 Menu 4: LIBRARY

 (A)ccess information (R)equest access
 (C)ategory listings (N)ew service!
 (S)ee your library access status...
 (Menu:123_56789) (T)op (G)oodbye

 Command:

The very first item explanes all the details about status, how to request
access by credit card online, as well as by check through the mail ...
including my address. And, both when you log on and when you log off, I
display our snail mail address. So, please look again. Everything is easy to
find around here.

 > I am looking forward to your catalog. I have a 102 but no accessories
except some cables, and I'd really like to have a disk or cassette interface as
well as more memory.

Catalog on its way. I suggest a disk drive vs. the cassette recorder. You'll
get far more use from the drive. In short, since you don't want details, the
drive greatly enhanses your use, whereas the cassette recorder hampers your
use.

Memory: No problem. When you receive the catalog, I suggest your first
purchase be a set of documents entitled THE WHOLE ENCHILADA. Therein you will
find all the differences and options available for Model "T" computers and
computing.

 > I am not a 102 fiend, so I don't know (or care to) lots of nitty gritties,
like model numbers versus product names.

Hmmmm... then you will have to tell me where, in my explanations, to stop.

For instance... speaking of drives vs. cassette recorders:

Detailed: I would cover all the devices, their pros and cons, etc.

To the point: Buy a TPDD ($65.00) or TPDD2 ($85.00) ... and get TS-DOS on ROM
(see catalog).

Note: The drives are not covered in my catalog. Catalog items are items I
manufacture and thus are, for the most part, always available. Drives and
computers are available as I receive them, but only after I referbish and test
them. Pricing and availability on drives and computers change. Always ask
first. The price I just gave you is current.

 > I'm a night owl, so if you need to call my residence, anytime before
midnight eastern TIME is ok.

Thank you, Doug but I probably will never call you. In fact, I rarely call
anyone. Unfortunately, I am not a kid hanging out by a computer having fun. I
am 47 years old, married, run this business as a sole proprietor and another as
the chief executive officer and marketing director.

Club 100 is a 6-figure annual hobby/business serving customers world wide. I
advertise in Editor & Publisher Magazine and serve much of the newspaper
industry. I have contractors working for me who referbish hardware. I
personally oversee order processing and customer support. Most of the income
to the club comes from computer sales to corporations; not small item sales to
individuals.

I eliminated voice-access due to my overload so I could concentrate on the jobs
at hand. Besides, I am not here most of the time ... and here is a computer
lab with 7 computers, 10 phone lines, order processing department,
manufacturing department, shipping and receiving. There is also a small
warehouse. I must say, though, I do call out to my corporate buyers when I
have questions. But then they spend thousands.

So, there's the big picture, Doug. You are welcome and greatly appreciated. I
will ship a catalog to you. Your first purchase, if I read your requests
correctly, is THE WHOLE ENCHLIDA series. From there you need a TPDD or TPDD2
and TS-DOS on ROM. The TWE will inform you about memory upgrades and options
which, again, you may order here.

At your service ... -Rick-
