Subj: REPLY TO MSG #1385 (KEYBOARD COVER/M102)

Ken: The cover we currently sell is not a skin. You can not use your keyboard,
or see the screen while thei cover is in place. The cover is made of hard,
black plastic which is molded to fit over the top of the 100/102/NEC8201 to
protect it when traveling and/or not in use. The cover goes on and off with
ease, but, again, it must be removed to actually use your computer.

A mulit-ROM device is already available via the extRAM device. The extRAM
comes with programming that, 1) Allows you to copy all your option ROM images
onto either disk or RAMPAC files, and 2) Allows you to copy disk or RAMPAC
ROM-image files onto the extRAM. Use of the extRAM as a ROM is just a matter
of swapping in ROM-images from your disk or RAMPAC.

Tracy Allen, present/owner of EME Systems, Berkeley, CA, inventor of the
extRAM, is currently working on a 4extRAM. The 4extRAM, in theory, will have
4, 32K holding areas. These areas may be used as RAM or ROM. One of the 4 is
the actual working space for RAM or ROM. The others are holding areas. I
assume that the 4extRAM will include a swap program allowing the working space
to be swapped with RAM or ROM from the holding areas. As of this writing, Dr.
Allen has not announced a release date, price, or operation-specifics. -Rick-
