Accessing the Internet network is simple with any computer ... not dependent on
a bunch of RAM or storage. All you need is a Shell account with a local
provider, and a TV100 terminal program; unless your ISP provides for ASCII
terminal settings.

At that point you may telnet, gopher, wais, finger, and use all the normal
Internet command-utilities outlined in "The Whole Internet: User's Guide &
Catalog" by Ed Krol, and other such publications.

Accessing the world wide web is also not a problem with a shell account, TV100
terminal program and a text-browser client program such as Lync. This program
runs on the host that you log into, so you don't have to worry about it running
or not running on your machine, i.e. typically, when you log onto an Internet
host, you are on a Unix machine as just another terminal (keyboard and screen).

The AOL software runs only under Windows or Mac operating systems. AOL is out
of the question for Model 100 users.

Hope this helps. -Rick-
