Ok. WELL, I've had a rom burner for a LONG time as I use it for programming
I'ds in my ham radio controllers. So I'm no rookie on using it. I just need
help on (A) whether I can somehow compile a Basic program and burn it on ROM
{and how to do that, if so}. (B) Do I have to learn machine language
programming to do what I want? Primarialy I was going to write up some plans
for I/O stuff using the program burned in EPROM. SO I need any info I can get
on port addressing and ROM maps. I have a nice map for the 100, but can find
very little on the 102 and I know there are differences. Then of course, I
needed to find out how to place the program into the proper location in the
EPROM so it will start. I got Mo Budlong's 'Secrets of ROM revealed' and it
did help a bit, but there is something missing between what he says, what I
know, and what I need to know. These programmers are swell people, like I
said, but they just don't have 'it' to bring a layman up to their level!
