 > Happy New Year RICK -

And a GREAT BIG! Happy New years to you, too, Daniel

 > Thank you for the prompt shipment of the products I ordered; everything
arrived in good shape.

My pleasure. I've instituted a new routine this year for working with lots of
order all at once. Thus far, the production is up and and timely, and the
error are minimal. I'm doing orders in batches.

 > And a special thanks to you for fixing my disk drive. I did send my drive
to Radio Shack but they sent it right back; saying they couldn't fix it! Whats
going on?

Since you had a tpdd, not a tpdd2, I checked the fuse, first. The fuse was
burned. That's it! This probably happend if you accidently placed the
batteries in the drive backwards, or when using an ac adaptor you had an
electrical spike.

I can't speak for Rat-Shack but if you paid anything for their non-service,
give them this documentation and let them know they did you a disservice.

 > I have made ROM images of all 7 of my ROM's; put in the XR4 & ran the test
program. So far so good; it tested zero errors. Today I'm going to download,
from your library, the remainder of the programs I'll need to activate the XR4.

That's great! Have fun.

 > I will UPS the pictures that my cousin took of my computer case. My
cousin's name is Ray Garcea, and I think he did a great job.

I plan a web-layout of pictures of member activities. Whatever you send will
be placed in that area.

 > Rick your disk of Laptop Christmas Specials was a joy to hear & to watch.

Yeah, those are really funny and fun. It's amazing what you can do when you
have lots of time on your hands.

 > EXCEL. Let me know if you included info. about Excel & thier phone cards
with all the products that you sent me; if so I have misplaced it.

You didn't misplace the EXCEL info. I made a note on your materials that I
would send Excel info in a separate mailing. To date, due to being swamped
with the holiday specials, I have yet to do any of the Excel mailout ... and I
really do feel bad about this situation. However, I promise that all the
materials will go out right after the 1st.

 > From time to time I have wondered what would happen if a good phone card is
presented to places like, the V.A. Hospital, a jail or correctional center, &
colleges. These places all have little stores within them; maybe the phone
card could find a place there. I see that phone cards are even being attached
to greeting cards.

They have phone cards... I think! I'm actually not up on that product but
getting up on it is only a matter of reading about it. Excel's materials are
excellent, as is their products and services. I'll make a note to include
stuff about the phone cards for you.

 > What a fine picture you have on your Christmas Card of you, your wife & two
of mans best friend; thank you for that.

Glad you liked the card. I've included that card with every order going out
the doror this year. That picture is also at the Club 100 web site ... at the
bottom of the page ... click on the camera.

Our family posed for that shot at my buddies photo place, Graham Family Photo
in Concord. Chuck Graham is a fellow Club 100 member from way back (about 10
years) and was the person responsible for sponsoring me into Rotary.

All the best... -Rick-
