Mark Mueller 1161 I Street #6 Arcata, CA. 95521 707/822-4771 8AM to 10PM Rick: I recently bought a ROMII/Cleuseau chip for my Tandy 200 and am having problems running an assembled program with it. I am able to call ROM2 routines with basic using the extened BASIC/Machine Code Call Command as discribed on page 25 of the ROM2 manual. Here is a discription of the problem. First the ROM2 was initialized as on page 25. i.e. 10 CALL 921,2',, This was done after the last cold start. I entered the program on page 27 of the ROM2 manual. On line F4C3 $TODECS was changed to $PRTDEC since the former did nat match the latter and the comment suggested that the latter was the proper command. This program assembled with no errors. Then I used the SAVEM BASIC command as discribed on page 15 for the Tandy 200. A file named TST.CO was created. Then at the menu I placed the curser over TST.CO and hit return. The screen blanked momentarily the 200 beeped and the menu returned, all within about a second's time. I have written many other shorter programs and have had equal success with identical results. I have also tried typing the begining eding and entry addresses directly as seen from the ASM output and converted to decimal. Still identical results. I am operating against a deadline and need to get this thing programmed. What's Wrong?
