Subj: REPLY TO MSG #2597 (ROSS PEROT)

I was raised in San Francisco, a strong Democratic Party community and do not
think I even met a Republican until I was in College. EVERYONE I knew was a
Democrat (obviously I didn't know alot of people). The possibility of voting
Republican was and still is for me.... unthinkable! I have never voted for a
Republican and doubt I ever will. However, after Bobby Kennedy, I haven't
found a Democrat I would be eager to vote for. This time around, I voted for
Tonsgas, but come the Fall.... Perot is looking pretty good. One thing about
Bush that bothered me four years ago was that I did not know what he really
beleived in (like some say about Perot). I couldn't tell if he was honest, a
puppet for Regan and the Conservative Right Wing, or if he was his own man.
Today, I still don't know if he is a puppet for the Conservative Right, an
insecure man trying to fight off a wimp image by staging wars, or a person I
would want to trust to led this nation in Justice, Equal Rights, Privacy, and
Economic Reform. The way it appears to me today, I trust Perot more than Bush
or Clinton. I know that Perot is a person who puts his principals and his
pocketbook where his mouth is; he appears honest and sincere and he acts with
integrity.

Oh, and the though of Danny-Boy being a heart-beat away from the Presidency
scares me.
