Wayne,
    The disk video interface was Tandy's first attempt at providing peripheral
support for the M100. In effect it turned the M100 into a desk-bound computer.
The DVI inself was a box that contained one or two 5-1/4" disk drives and
circuitry to drive a monitor. Thus you got disks and an 80 column video
display. I've never used one so I can't say if the diskettes were
interchangeable with any other system or not (probably not) or how the video
interfaced with applications. I do know that many people complain about the
fact that the interface software is not compatible with other popular programs.
If you need more info, just yell and someone with actual experience will
undoubtedly jump in.
