Subj: ASCII GRAPHICS

I've designed a few large ASCII graphics. Nowadays, the old 132 column by 66
row line printers seem scarce--I have printed out my classic pictures on laser
printer paper, but it isn't the same.... The method I've used for simple X is
to first draw or photograph with high contrast a suitable subject, and then
place graph paper over the print, marking appropriate boxes. For best results,
I'd enlarge/reduce the drawing on a photocopier so that it would use the
apropriate number (e.g. 132) of squares.

It shouldn't be difficult to write a conversion program to translate these old
things to light up individual pixels on the display. Hmmmm.

I have some old typing pictures saved from my high school; I'll see what they
look like when I've pixelized them, and perhaps I'll upload the program.

I still haven't purchased a book on assembly programming for 8085. *sigh*
