Subj: MYSTERY CHIP SET

Hi folks--
At the Sept. 10 Foothill Electronics Flea Market I picked up an extra
Model 100 with the Radio Shack Technical Reference Manual, cassette & Modem
cables -AND- a set of ROM chips with unclear markings and no docs. I hope
someone out there can help me identify what I've got before I resort to
experimentation to figure it out.
Its a package of 3 chips in an antistatic carrier from Semitronics.
Each chip has the following characteristics:

--14 pin 27128-25 EPROM with Kantronics label marked with a pen as "U9S 1.6" or
"U45 1.6" its not clear what the 2nd & 3rd characters are.

--14 pin Hitatchi 6264P-15 Mask ROM, No label

--8 pin 8531. I don't have a TTL databook handy, so I don't know what this is.

I'm hoping these might be something useful like the Ultimate ROM II
package. If you can identify it I'd probably be interested in getting the docs
and/or some installation guidance (I have no idea what the 8531 or the 2nd ROM
are for, where they would be installed or why they are necessary.)

Thanks for your help C. Clark
