Jeff: You "will" lose data coming to the LCD on your Model 100 via a high speed modem due to the 600 baud operation of the LCD. This is normal, again, due to the slower output device. However, if you use one of the terminal programs in the library that allows turning off the LCD--or at least reducing it to one line--your through-put speed will improve. Also, xmodem ups and downs will be at the higher baud since the LCD is not involved during the transfer. Hope this helps... -Rick-
