Good suggestions and questions. It is VERY possible that I miss-typed when editing my comments on TS-DOS. Indeed, the T key--not Ctrl T--tags individual files. DVI cable sources remain a mystery. There "is" a company that sells the parts for home-builders. The company is: Digi-Key Corp. 701 Brooks Ave. South P.O. Box 677 Thief River Falls, MN 56701-0677 1-800-344-4539 I have their catalog but have not annotated the actual parts by page or number. Get their latest catalog and let us all know what to buy. Yeah, there's got to be a better way of handling the S to skip information. The S to skip works in "every" listing here online. It's like part of the host program. Glad you like the new ONLINE LIBRARY CATEGORY DISK that we're planning on sending "ever" library access member. It will definately help folks search the library without having to spend so much time online in that one function, prior to actually downloading files. Other "beta testers" of the disk report some problems with VGA displays--I'll work on that. They've also recommended that I include indept descriptions of the various products, as well as tutorials on BBS use. Good suggestions. The only drawback to the disk is that it is MS-DOS oriented, only. But then, like the explanation sheet says, I "assume" that most folks can get a hold of an MS-DOS computer to use. Good idea about placing all the HAM stuff on a disk and mailing it your way. Do me a favor: I don't want to miss anything. Go through the Online Library Category Disk I sent you and make a list of all the programs you "think" are applicable to HAM. Upload the list and I will offload the online files, put them on a disk and send them your way. I will also ask our online librarian, Robert Benson, to see if he has anything else on HAM in his vast, non-libraried sources. Lastly: Howard, you really need to move up to Lapdos II. Please excuse my bluntness but Lapdos II will eliminate your DOS to laptop or TPDD file transfers. Sometimes I get far too wordy pushing the fearures and opportunities of Lapdos but it REALLY does make a world of difference. Okay... I'm finsihed lecturing... send your list of what you want sent from the library... I'm ready to get this project going... -Rick-
