Dear Lex,
I'd first want to know whether the URII problem was coming from the ROM
itself, or from the combination of hardware. Since it is happening in both the
Booster and in the extRAM, it might be a URII problem. I'd want to check out
the ROM chip alone in a vanilla M100 or 102, without attachements.
I'll mail you the docs on how to write-protect the extRAM. That can make a
difference only if the ROM software for some reason attempts to write data into
the ROM. I've never heard of URII doing that. The only ROM I know of that
does it (and has to be write-protected to run in extRAM) is the Multiplan ROM.
Usually one Gremlin breeds others! Why? Why do they appear in such odd
get-ups and at the oddest times?
