The modification to the Model 100 is for a deaf family at our church. They
have a real need for what I guess is called a Slient Terminal...somehthing to
call other TDD devices over the phone for the purposes of communicating. They
don't have the means to obtain any equipment and we have a spare Model 100
which we hoped would "fill the bill". As you know the Model 100's built in
modem and portability make it perfect as a companion device. Unfortunately I
know very little about how the current TDD devices (some of which I believe are
available through Ma-BELL) operate. One local contact had mentioned something
called TeleTrem 100. They though this would solve my problem. So far I
haven't been able to locate it, although I'm not sure it's what I need...it
sounds CpP_C.x?F-7<@AlF)qCj %dQI%DRB2.cb_Z9T@j D!$$0{xdf|P}v z it sounds like
a standard ANSI BBS comm. program. I hoped I've spelled out a little of what
I'm trying to do. However, if there are any specific questions I could answer
to better define the problem, just let me know. Thanks for you time and
consideration...Micahel
