Dear Hugh,
I got out the schematics for the M100, T102 and the Kyo85. The ROM chip
situation is this: The standard ROM socket in the Kyo85 has the pinout
identical to the ROM socket in the T102, but different from the M100. That's
right, the M100 and T102 have different ROM socket pinouts! The pinout in the
T102 is the industry-standard pinout, so you can use a standard eprom, or you
can swap the ROM from a T102 to a Kyo85. But you can't use an M100 ROM
directly in a Kyo85. You can burn an eprom with the image of either the M100
ROM or the T102 ROM. The good news is that the Kyo85 has an option ROM socket
that has a pinout identical to both the M100 and the T102, so once you change
the ROM, you should be able to use M100/T102 ROMware, like Ultimate ROM 2 etc.
