----- Drew: I noticed that Rick bowed out of this one so I will try to take up the slack since this is one of my special interests. First of all the TDD2 sends and receives at 19200 baud except when it's booting, then it resets your terminal for 9600 baud. Secondly the operating system (FLOPPY, TS-DOS, etc.) sends request data in blocks and responds to return blocks in Hex format. The files appear to be transfered in Hex also, but the characters are stored in single bytes! I had better stop here and let you give me some feedback... does this help? -=Robert=-
