Hi, RL,

You mentioned LapDOS the last time we chatted and I forgot to throw in my two
cents on the subject: Get it! There, that was easy.

It makes transferring files from either your laptop or TPDD/TPDD2 to your
MS-DOS PC a snap. Plus you get the advantage of setting up subdirectories on
your MS-DOS floppy or hard disk for better organization. Although LapDOS works
fine going direct from laptop to PC, it's more efficient to go from TPDD/TPDD2
to PC, because you're not limited by the laptop's 32K RAM space. It also skips
the RS232 cable hassles - use the cable that comes with your TPDD/TPDD2 and the
appropriate gender changer (usually female on both ends) and away you go.

Rick Hanson promotes LapDOS quite a bit, and he's not exaggerating. I've heard
another user compare it to Norton Commander - not an inaccurate comparison, but
unfair to LapDOS; LapDOS is much easier to use!
