Yeah, way behind the times.  But TDD's are based on TTY's, those clanking
TeleTYpe-writers used in every news room, telegraph office and military office
up to the  instigation of ascII and UARTs.
  
I'll put the query on Silent Talk and we'll try to find you a nearby FidoNet.
  
I've done some work trying to make the Mdl 100 talk to a TDD.  We can get the
Mdl 100 to talk 5-bit baudot....using the cassette motor port switch.....the
RTTY files are in our library.  RTTY is using TTY's on HAM radio.
  
I haven't given it all up yet, tho.
  
Talk to your telco and get them on the ball.  You've got the ADA in your
corner. (Of course, even a new TDD cost's only from $150 to $300 these days.)
