Subj: REPLY TO MSG #320 (NEW NEWSLETTERS)
I've taken the date issue to heart. You'll notice that I now place the date of the current issue online in the opening message as you log on. However, by reading your message I think I see the light even clearer, i.e., not everyone read the log on message each time they log on. There are several possible reasons for this but that is not the point. The point is "where" is the best place to post "current" newsletter date information? You gave me the answer: In the listing that gets shown when someone requests (N)ewsletter. Since the listing information is actually a simple ASCII file, I will simply edit the listing whenever I post a new version of the newsletter. The best solutions are the simple ones... thanks... -Rick-
