Joe: Unfortunatelly, I will be at Columbia College on Treasure Island, working
in the computer lab. Classes start this week and I've got about a half days
work to do in the lab before classes begin. I'm teaching Tue/Wed/Thr evenings
this term (8 weeks). Needless to say, I'll be taking Friday's off. I'm
getting too old to keep up the pace--working all day then teaching until 10 pm
in the evenings. It's been 10 years. It's about time for a change.

So what's this surgery all about? Mouth? What, did you have a tooth-lift? Or
perhaps a silicon tongue implant? Or maybe was it lip-o-suction? (grin) So,
how are you doing and how is your dad?

So, again, I will not be around on Tuesday. In fact, I will have to miss this
months meeting, as well. February or March looks good. Say, are you going to
the Oakland Roadster Show this year? January 13-17. My buddy, Bill Reasoner,
painter/customizer of Walnut Creek will be honored as Builder Of The Year.
BYW: I drove the roadster over to Bill's shop this last Saturday. I wanted to
see "The Rad Cad" he's getting ready for the show. It's unreal!!! Also, while
I was there, I contracted him to paint the roadster. I'll do all the prep and
primer. Bill will shoot and finish the top coat. I was going to do the whole
job here, but Paula said she didn't want to smell the fumes. She was VERY
happy to hear that Bill Reasoner will do the painting. Anyway, I've got a ton
of work to do before that happens. My goal is to have it finished (paint,
upholstered, and pin-stripped) for the March 27th Goodguy's Get Together in
Pleasanton. And, if I'm lucky, I might even have it fitted for Model T
monitoring. Yep. If I can get all the sensors in place I can hook one of my
Model 100's to the roadster to monitor its performance. Wouldn't that be a
kick? Connect a Model 100 to a 1950 Ford Merc flathead V8 !! It sort of takes
your breathe away, huh? -Rick-
