Have you tried just calling a TDD operator with your Telcom program? I am aware
of the fact that TDD/TTYs use Baudot, but one of the thigs that is happenning
lately is that TDD operators are using ASCII as well; if fact many high-end
TDD/TTYs are capable of ASCII communications at low speeds.

I have personally chatted with a TDD operator on my model 100, as a matter of
fact. All you need to do is switch Telcom to "half duplex". So I think you guys
are just worrying too much.

And what's Bardot, some French character set? :>
