Subj: REPLY TO MSG #995 (CONNECTING)

You're doing just fine, Nathan. You left your message to me in the
(1)Conference message area, as is this reply. The (1)Conference contains
several months-worth of messages between online members, like yourself. This
also means that your message, as well as my reply, will be read by others, and
possibly responded too. Who knows what will happen. Most of these guys are a
little right or left of center so one can only hope for the best.

The (3)ElectMail area, short for Electronic Mail, is dedicated to person to
person contact, without being open for all eyes to read. If you had left your
message to me in the (3)ElectMail area, only you and I would be able to read
it. Also, you would find that it was the only message posted from you to
anyone on this system.

There are many wealths to a user group (i.e., facts, programs, lists, etc.) but
the best wealth is the interaction between members at gatherings. Most user
groups gather physically, we gather electronically. Electronic gatherings are
not new just new to many more folks these days. It's an interesting method of
communications. It has both strong and weak points.

Be talking to you... -Rick-
