Subj: REPLY TO MSG #3582 (LAPDOSII)

Well, I didn't read through the whole reply you sent me, so bear with me. I
WILL read more, and use GO and 'go' from there. Meanwhile, I've discovered
that LAPDOS direct to the TPDD2 is having a problem. I can read/write to an
already formatted disk, but can't seem to get any of my 3.5" disks to Format!
I keep getting 'No disk in drive or unformatted' when I try to use FORMAT. I
tried Logging, but of course, with no DIR, then it can't read. So I FORMAT,
and get the above error. I tried wiping the disks with a bulk tape erasor, and
still no FORMAT. They will work on the DOS machine after formatting them DOS,
however. Occasionally I get a 'regular' 3.5" disk formatted fine, but these
last 10 just won't go. Any suggestions? / I am 'hot' for that XR4 as I think
it'll do what I want in the way of saving file info for reference at work.
Slow, but faster than a card file after the first hundred or so entries. / I
really appreciate your 'store', Richard and will do anything I can to help you
out. / Meanwhile, my pipe dream of coming down for pizza was blown last week
when I looked up the 510 area code. I thought you guys were up by Eureka! San
Fran is a bit too much farther for pizza... At least this year.
