Subj: CATALOG DISK

Just in case I don't make it tomorrow or we don't have time to speak, I would
like to offer up a few thoughts. I thought the disk was generally well thought
out and easy to use. It is not immediately evident to the novice user that
your "help" function is a comprehensive guide to the files. I would suggest
renaming it "introduction" or indicate in the opening text that accessing this
are will give the user a comprehensive guide to the technical aspects of the
files, their extensions, and their use vis-a-vis the Model 100 or 200.
I had forgotten what a great program "list.com" is all unto itself. I'd
gotten spoiled on the built in viewers in XTREE and other utilities. However,
I remember in my early MS-DOS days what a relief it was to find that this
program existed. I think you should make it clear in the opening screen or in
the help area that this is a stand-alone program and extremely useful in
applications other than the disk. Making reference to this freebie utility as
a bonus might help you garner orders and help guilt trip those who receive it
into forwarding the $5.00 fee you are requesting. We take it for granted in
the shareware-user community, but there are plenty of folks out there who are
forking over $3.00 or more to shareware vendors just for the "list.com"
program on disk. Here you are are providing it and the catalog for just $2.00
more. Such a deal! Don't keep it a secret.
