The program in question is James Yi's "PACK.100" (2/24/90). I tried your
suggestion, but no luck. When the loader program itself is run it actually asks
for the top end memory address. The only other programs I'm running at the same
time are LAPDOS.BA and EME's S/L/X.CO. And I even tried loading the program
into my 102 after a cold start, but still no luck. Might not the problem be
in the program itself as it is downloaded? Do you know of anyone using this
program successfully? It would appear to be a useful, and inexpensive way to
"increase" the 102's memory. Any further help here would be greatly
appreciated. By the way, those keyboard bands are a handy way of preventing
the "caps lock" and "num" keys from being locked down accidentally when
carrying the 102 and then having to be released the next time you turn the
102 on. Just put TWO bands under each of these keys and this small, but
annoying problem is solved. Barry Wagner.
