Subj: PORTING LUCID FILES TO DESKTOP

From Anton Walraven To All Subject Porting Superrom data to MS-DOS
computer

I am using a Tandy M102 (European version) equipped with a PCSG Superrom chip,
as a daily expense manager. The database program with its facility of input
templates works fine for this application. The problem occurs when I want to
transfer the accumulated LUCID.CA files over the serial port of the M102 to my
MS-DOS desktop. I am aware that there exists another ROM (Disk+), for this
purpose, but I would prefer to use a program similar to the DIF utility which
was available for the original LUCID rom, allowing data transfer using the DIF
format, or comma-delimited conversion. Unfortunately, this original DIF utility
(which I have), does not operate in conjunction with the Superrom and its lucid
files. Thanks for any help in this matter, Anton Walraven (Eindhoven, The
Netherlands, Europe)
