----- Okay... I've read your messages about aborted downloads, @ and other characters in your files, Drew Blanchar's replys, etc., etc., etc. I've I think I understand what's going on. I "firmly believe" that you are facing a hardware problem. It's either a bad RAM chip or a loose RAM chip. Check your chips. First: Go into the library, choose 7)Utilities, and download both RAMCHK.BA and RAMTST.BA. Run those programs and see what happens. Second: Save all your data. Turn off your main power switch on the bottom. Open your case. Make sure your RAM chips are all snugly in place, i.e., rock them up, slightly, then push them back down with the force necessary to seat them firmly into their sockets. Note: The RAM in a Model 100 are 4, verticle chips, located on the lower left hand side of the mother board. If opening the case and banging on the chips scare you, come to the meeting this Saturday and well REALLY SCARE YOU !!!!! -Rick-
