I'm writing this to you before I have a chance to read what ever you may
have replied with concerning Multiplan conversions.

I made a couple of discoveries over the weekend concerning the use of
Ni-Cad 'AA' batteries in my Model T and what happens to a Multiplan file when
the Model T shuts itself off due to low battery output. What I found out with
Ni-Cads is that because they die with a sharp drop in voltage, as opposed to
alkalines which die linearly, the "Low battery" light will come on for a split
second before the Model T shuts off. This of course leaves no time to close
whatever file you are working on in order to turn off the machine and change
batteries. My problem with Multiplan is that if the Model T shuts off while I
have a .CO file open, that file is screwed over in that when I check its memory
size it has doubled, tripled, or quadrupled. I can't find anything new that
has been added to the file, nor can I find anything missing. It just increases
in size.

I'm wondering if this is already public knowledge and if I am the last to
know. If it is not known, clue me in and I'll post a letter for all to see.

Thanks again for your help. Talk to you later.
