Hmmmm... so the cable works with Procomm ... that's a good sign. The cable is probably okay. And, you removed Superrom. That's necessary. And, you booted from a floppy ... which eliminates the TSR's. But, for it to not work with either machine is not right! The LOADER part of the program is the simplist thing, too. It's just a pipping of an ASCII file from the DOS computer to the Model "T". If that doesn't fly then something is seriously wrong. Pipping the ASCII files is far too simple. I could understand that LAP.EXE might not run but LOADER? Of course, I am sssuming it's LOADER we're talking about! Yes? If not, or if yes, check for COM-port conflicts, i.e. two COM-ports sharing the same address. Procomm handles it okay ut Lapdos will not. -Rick-
