Glad to hear that you are using the Apple IIc. I first saw this machine during
a holiday in Singapore, and almost bought it, its built-in drive looked great
to me. I am sure you are still able to get support from the Apple user
community. I remember a journal (InCider) supporting this machine. Your remark,
on the M102 and similar machines being orphaned, is also true over here.
Support must come from the users, who are often more knowledgeable than the
shops which used to sell these machines. I also own a Geneva PX8 portable with
piggyback 128 K RAM disk. This is a beautiful CP/M 8 bit machine, which had the
misfortune to fall into the market gap between the M100 and the early MS-DOS
portables. I got it cheap at a clearance sale, luckily with a couple of cables,
but have been unable to get the tech manual from the official Epson inporter. I
briefly used it in my first contacts with Club 100, because the RAM disk was
useful for storing the comm. log file.

As for my reason for being in Holland, that's easy, as I happen to be a citizen
of this country. However, I used to travel a lot. My second M100 was acquired
in Washington, and has been a travel companion to many countries. Maybe it will
even see Melo's Restaurant sometime, as I may be visiting the US next year.

Take care now,
        Anton Walraven
