Welcome back, John. It's good to hear from you, again. To your Compuserve question: Although I am not actively on CIS I kind of figure they haven't changed the member profile setting options much. Every online system offers a place and procedure for making changes to ones terminal settings. These settings are at the base of the service. My best guess would be to ... GO TERMINAL This powerful area enables you to change your terminal tupe, your settings (such as character set, line length, parity and output delays) your language preferences and your first logon action. In addition, you can build your own personal menu of products that will display at logon. Knowing that CIS was one of the first to support the Model 100, and that many reporters, world wide, still access CIS with their Model 100, I bet you that setting up CIS to handle your 40 chr x 8 line display is a no brainer. One thing I would suggest is to make the lines-per-screen = 0. This will turn the -more- feature off. You can then control the display with CTRL S for stop and CTRL Q for start. Hope this helps. Good to hear from you again ... -Rick-
