Carl: The basis for just about all printer driver programs is Epson printers,
or printers that emmulate the Epson escape codes. Tandy printers, besides
always being more expensive, do not emmulate the Epson escape codes--at least
that's the way it was for all these years. However, the newer Tandy printers
may emmulate the Epson escape codes now that even Tandy had to knuckle under to
the micro-leader, Intel processors driven by MS-DOS.

When you initialize the Ultimate ROM II you will seea file called CONFIG.DO.
This files holds all the printer control (escape) codes. The default code set
is Epson, and was initially developped to drive the Epson 80 series printers.
You may, however, alter the codes as CONFIG.DO is an ASCII file. -Rick-
