TIMEBOMB, eh? Yeah! I like it ... I like it a lot!!

So, what would you call a TIMEBOMB program using a 6 character filename?

I like BGB.

The logic is excellent, applied to TO.DO lists and other files. It parallels
the many boxes of stuff stored around the place. I "know" I will "need" that
one day. Or, I'll get around-to that project "one day." Of course, "that day"
never comes but the boxes keep stacking up. Then, one day, many years later,
you open the box and say, "Why did I keep that?" and throw it all away.

In the physical world, BGB would be a service you could hire. A person would
come out to your place, walk around with you and put dates on all the boxes and
projects in your place, according to some agreed upon schedule.

Each month, a worker from BGB, Inc. would come to your place, like a gardner,
compare dates and cart off to the dump eveything whoes date was beyond the
agreed schedule. And, of course, you'll never know it's gone cause you weren't
looking for it, anyway!

Another anology, now that I think of it, would be my mom (...we're going back a
few years on this one, okay?). She would come into my room, go through my
closet and remove "clean garments" that I hadn't worn since the last time she
washed them and put them into the wash ... just to keep them ... clean! And
sometimes, she would just rip'em up for rags!

Mom was ahead of her time... -Rick-
