Subj: DISABLING KEYS
It is possible to disable the PASTE, LABEL, PRINT, and PAUSE keys during execution of a BASIC program. The Clock-Cursor-Keyboard background task can be modified, or replaced. A counter at FF8F makes the keyboard be scanned every 3 times this background process is executed. You can call 7242(hex) to read a key from the keyboard input buffer, and check for break or pause by calling 7283(hex). I'll leave a fuller explanation to the experts.
