Subj: BYTE QUESTION
OK, as best as I can tell the model 102 with 32k RAM has: 1. 32k standard ROM (addresses 0-32767) 2. 32k total RAM (adresses 32768-65535) 3. MAXRAM = 62960 I figured that 32k=32768 bytes by dividing 32768 by 256 (total # of ASCII codes) and got 128. There is always at least one question and here they come: 1. Since the top adress of RAM is 62960 and the first is 32768. That leaves 30192 bytes available. After a cold start the command "print FRE(0)" resopnds with only 29638 (that's after "clear 0"). WHAT HAPPENED TO THE OTHER 554? WHY ISN'T MAXRAM 63514? -CARROLL LEWIS-
