Subj: SARDINE ROM

Rick, OK, I figured out what the problem is. It seems that if I load SuperRom
into the extRAM and initialize it, it causes problems with the Sardine ROM when
I run it. When I then load Sardine into the extRAM afterwards it works fine
except for where it puts the words you tell it to learn. It'll put them in
"CONFIG.DO" or some other file, doesn't seem to be much consistancy. It also
seems to be confused as to what file it should use for the personal dictionary
file. As least once today it was using the file it was spell checking. The file
was full of nonsense words and Sardine kept finding no misspellings.

If I reset that bank in my 200 and don't load SuperRom then Sardine works as
advertised. It could be that SuperRom installs some hooks into the system thats
messing with Sardine, or maybe it's just the weird way SuperRom puts its name
on the menu. It puts it as "Super" and it doesn't appear to be a file. You
can't delete it and you don't get a file size when the cursor is setting over
it. Sardine, on the other hand, creates a file called "TWORD+" when it's
installed, that 80 bytes long and can be deleted. I've looked in my manuals for
a way to de-install SuperRom but no go. Does anyone know of a way to get
SuperRom to take its name off the menu and remove any hooks it may have
installed in the system.
