William,  The fact that all those keys are in a group on the keyboard strongly
suggests that there is a crack in the keyboard, and a copper trace is broken.
If you disassemble the computer and look at the back of the keyboard under a
magnifier, you might be able to see the crack and bypass it with a piece of
wire.  The crack might lead to more problems later unless you can stiffen it.
A replacement keyboard is usually the same as the price of a new M100!!
