Subj: REPLY TO MSG #437 (OTHER BBS'S)

You know, I went back and reread James Fields original message. Indeed, I
misread it. He "did" say 80-Micro, not Portable 100. Wow! Was I off base or
what? I guess I haven't changed much, huh? One day I'll even learn to read,
too.

True. The old 80-Micro by Wayne Green is long since gone. I've got the
complete collection from the premier issue to the last. It was always a joy to
receive that mag. It was packed with stuff. And the december issue was
susally followed by a year end issue full of stuff they couldn't put in the
other issues. Alas, those fun days are gone. My collection is sitting in the
library I built at Columbia College on Treasure Island where I teach. I've
long since run out of room around this place for 30 magazines a month
collections.

Yes. They had a BBS but that is gone as well. However, there "may" be old TRS
BBSes around the country that still have that stuff. I would contact the TRS80
Nibblers in Hayward, CA. Perhaps they still have their old library avaliable.
I know that Computer News 80 still has a ton of TRS 80 programs available.
They're number is 307-265-6483. -Rick-
