---- Hi there Mike. So, you're a new Model 100 owner; and new to the club, too. That's great. Let's see if I understand your questions correctly: > Hey, hows it going? I would like to get full access here and would be glad to contribute some $$$. Whats the address I should send my Money Order to?? It is going okay, Mike. Gee pal, I present the address to you every time you log on, and again when you log off. Also, you will find complete instructions in the library area about purchasing library access by money order; complete with the mailing address. You will also find valuable information in the (T)op menu (H)elpfiles. I recommend that you please go back into the library area and re-read the information available in that area. I know how even the simplist BBS can be a bit overwhelming until you get used to the layout. So, instead of me just giving you the answers, I'll let you play around a bit more and discover them for yourself. It's better that way. > Looks to be a great Bbs, and probly the only one like it left? On behalf of the Club 100 staff and online members, thank you for the compliment. However, what do you mean by the second part of your comment? > After getting my Model 100 ($20.00 at the Laney College Flea Market), I now consider my Mac IIcx just a hard disk interface for my 100... I can load basic programs direct to memory by using - LOAD "COM:68N1D". Pretty cool they included the RS232 on it. I just send as text from the Mac side. Yes, the RS232 port, and complete integration of its use throughout, is quite useful. You may also move text in and out of .DO files by being in that file, tapping <f2> for load (download or in), or <f3> for save (upload or out) followed by COM:98N1E. The 9 indicates 19200 baud. When loading to BASIC, however, it is best to slow the process down to allow for the interpreter time to tokenize the incoming ASCII stream. > I got a lot of programs from Delphi, but am just looking around and having fun with it for now. ok, C-ya later... Perhaps you might want to share some of your findings from Delphi with your fellow club members. Please feel free to use the (7)Upload area for new offerings. That area is managed by our online members. Also, please note that Club 100 is not just an online club. There are over 20,000 members in the club, world wide. Less the 1000 are online. Again, welcome aboard. -Rick-
