Yes there are several programs for small characters while linked to TELCOM.
Another approach is to leave the character size as is but emulate a larger
"monitor screen".

At best, 60 characters per line can be observed. Most programs that do this
also emulate a wider "monitor" and have hot keys to horizontally scrool the
60-wide screen within an 80-wide "monitor". For maximum info, a few of these
also provide a 10-line high screen so you see 60 by 10 display and the
"monitor" is an 80 by 10 emulation. These programs are in the library and some
are in Option ROM form. Library names like VIEW80 are the 60 by 8 and 60 by 10
programs which link with TELCOM.

The other approach is found with a program named VTEMUL and it's in the library
and I think it's offered as a Club 100 special as well. I think variations of
this program include X Modem file transfer protocol but I don't remember what
program names relate to this (check TELCOM section of library). With VTEMUL,
the VT100 computer terminal device is emulated so most screen cursor
positioning commands are supported and the "monitor" is 80 by 24. The monitor
area is 6 times the M100 screen so hot keys let you scrool left/right and
up/down to observe each 1/6 of the "monitor".
