Subj: CLUB 100 WWW PAGE

Let's discuss what is involved in setting up a WWW page. Where do I start?
What services do I need? What tools do I need?

I'll admit, although I've set up and managed several direct connect online
services since 1979, I have "yet" to set up a web site, and "yet" to even go
"live" on the Internet network. I have never FTPed, GOFERed, TELNETed, etc. I
do not, at this time, have a PPP or SLIP connection. My Internet e-mail
service is through our site (gateway) on The Dock! We gateway through Holonet
in Berkeley, CA.

I have priced PPP and SLIP accounts from a handful of local providers. Prices
range from $10/mo limited to "X" amount of houres/mo, to $20/mo unlimited
hours, to $2/hr, pay for what you use.

I "am" interested in "exploring" the dynamics of a www site for Club 100 ...
after all, it's just another BBS to me! Yawn... zzzzzzzzz

Like I "need" more work! -Rick-
