Lapdos is picky. Designed for the PC and XTs, it will want similar conditions
on 286, 386, et al. The LOADER program does a simple ASCII upload to your
Model 100. That's not a biggie, and can work with other programs in the
background. LAP, however, wants nothing lurking around, a slow processor
speed, and a under 100 MB harddrive. One solution is to make a boot disk for
your 286 with no special settings. Put Lapdos on the disk, as well. Boot the
286 from diskette, then run LAP.

Your missing pixel line is common on older Model 100s and is a sign that one of
the line-drivers is malfunctioning. Your Booster Pac has nothing to do with
the LCDs drivers. Your solution is to replace the LCD. To concur this
situation, call Tracy Allen at EME Systems, Berkeley (510) 848-5725 and ask
him. Tracy may have other solutions.

Try these things and let us know what worked... -Rick-
