Subj: REPLY TO MSG #1403 (THANKS)

The disk drive I got from Crosby! had a little problem. I called your messzge
machine about it. The little pins or whatever that keep the disk drive down
when a disk is in it had come out. A trip to the local hardware store and a
little ingenuity kept me from a trip to Rat Snake for repair. They put in a
couple of screws and epoxy to hold them. NOw I have to put it back together.
It is a TPDD1, but I know it can be handy. I may order a connection for
Lapdos, though, with nine pins at the MiSeryDOS end for connection of the Model
100 to the Toshiba.

One possible purchase for a ROM, though I do have Multiplan inside, is this one
that acts almost as an extra RAM bank. One can duplicate a ROM into it, or one
can save BASIC programs or what-have-you into it. Sounds like it might be
handey. The possibilities are endless for spending money on computers when one
owns six of them, even if they are all dinosaurs. By now, my XT desktop and my
Toshiba are dinosaurs. Also the Model 100, a Model 4 desktop and a Model 4P.
I love them all.
