Subj: P-NUT PIE

Frozen Peanut Chip Pie Sweet and salty, crunchy and smooth, rich and chewy, the
way Americans like their peanuts and chocolate. Rich again.  Some people only
get small wedgies. serves 1-10

Preheat oven to 350 F. In large mixing bowl, cream until smooth and fluffy
   1/2 cup smooth PEANUT BUTTER at room temperature
   1/2 cup firmly packed LIGHT BROWN SUGAR

Stir in and blend until smooth
   1/2 cup LIGHT CORN SYRUP

Add one at a time, beating well after each addition
   3 EGGS

Stir in and blend thoroughly
   1/2 cup LIGHT CREAM of HALF-N-HALF
   1 tsp VANILLA

Sprinkle 
   1 cup SEMI-SWEET CHOCOLATE CHIPS evenly over bottom of
   PASTRY for 9-inch deep pie shell Pour filling over the chips.

Bake pie for 30 minutes, until filling is puffed, firm & lightly browned.

In small saucepan, melt over low heat, blending until smooth
   2 tbs BUTTER
   1/2 cup SEMI-SWEET CHOCOLATE CHIPS

Carefully spread BUTTER/CHOCOLATE glaze evenly over warm pie. Sprinkle over hot
glaze
   1/3 cup salted dry-roasted finely chopped PEANUTS

Cool pie completely, then wrap in plastic wrap and freeze. Remove pie from
freezer 5 minutes before cutting and serving. Do you really need ice cream with
this!?!?!?!?!?
