I understand your concerns but you haven't done bad. Your Lapdos II will communicate with a TPDD and TPDD2 just fine. It's no big deal that Lapdos II does not work with a Booster Pak. It was never designed too. BoosterLink was designed to do that ... and now you have a copy coming your way that I think you'll like very much. In the mean time, why not put your best copy of Lapdos II and manual online for sale. That's what the (2)ForSaleAds are there for ... and they work just fine. Just about everyone goes into that area each time they come online to see what's new. I sent BoosterLink to you on a MS-DOS 5.25" disk since that is the size you wanted back in '92 when you ordered Lapdos II ... and thank you for the support, sir. When you receive it, copy the contents to your hard disk, into a subdirectory called ROOT. You will find a similar subdirectory on the diskette. Thus, make the following commands from your C:\ C:\ md root C:\ copy a:\root\*.* c:\root Go into the c:\root directory and run the program... C:\ cd root C:\ desklink At this point, your MS-DOS computer is emulating a TPDD. Simply connect a null modem cable between COM1 and your RS232C port on your BoosterPak-enabled Model 100 or 102 and you're ready to rock'n'roll! ... ahhmmm ... I mean you are ready to transfer files. :) One more thing: You and everyone else are just about to hear about a 20% discount program I'm kicking off called "Jump-Start The New Year." And, although it's not officially off the ground, I've applied that discount to your BoostrLink order. Congratulations! And, once again, thank you for your order. Your support is greatly appreciated. All the best... -Rick-
