Subj: ROSS PEROT

Just read the new news letter and thought I'd throw a comment or two in about 
Ross Perot. Like you, my wife and I are long time Republicans and are also 
probably going to vote for Perot. I think the economic mess the country is in 
requires some one with some business savy.
 
The other comment is more directed to the press. They keep wanting a more 
definitive answer on the issues, but they also want to take things out of 
context - look at the brief comment made about Gays in the Barbara Walters 
interview and how that was reported by the media. Personally I find it 
refreshing when a candidate says that he needs to sit back and think about an 
issue before giving an answer. Besides most of the 'definitive'answers given by
politicians during a campagn are too brief to have any meaning or are political
rehtoric or are tossed aside when they get into office ("No new taxes";
"Educational President"; "Environmental President").
