The Service Manual for the 102 is part number 26-3803. It contains Theory of
Operation, Schematics, and I/O Port information, plus more. The Technical
Reference Manual for the 102 is part number 26-252. The Tech Manual contains
schematics, more theory of operation, and the ROM Subroutines. Even after
obtaining both of those, I feel that they still didn't say half of what should
have been said.
** Im looking for a routine that will give me a specific tone frequency. As
I recall the old Model 80 would simply create the tone that you wanted if you
typed SOUND [tone frequency]. Obviously the 102 does not. The end result is
to make a program that will create two different audible tone frequencies...one
tone immediately following the other. The first of duration 'x' and the second
of a longer duration 'x'. These tones will be used for activating radio paging
equipment IF the tones generated are close enough (stable enough) to do what I
want. The tones are NOT the same as musical notes. IE: One frequency is 1082
cycles, and the tones may go from 78.2 cycles to 2000 cycles. Any leads or
assistance would be appreciated.
