Joe...Yep. I've given up on the WP2 and the 1500. I've found that the
combination of a M100 and the TI T2000 (same as the Sharp 6220) will serve all
my needs. When I am going to be in the same place for a few days, I usually
take the TI because I can use my fax/modem, run Word Perfect, etc. But when I
am going on an overnighter or know I will be writing on the go, it is the M100
that gets the nod. If you are thinking of the Sharp 6220 (the same as the TI
Travelmate 2000) I'd suggest you act quickly. They are being closed out now
(which accounts for the $799 price tag) and from what I've seen, they are going
quick. BTW, don't get one unless you can get the optional external floppy
drive at the same time. They are also disappearing fast and while you can use
the Sharp (or TI) fine without it,your needs may change in the future and then
you may not be able to get one. As for the WP2 and 1500, I tried the WP2 twice
and the 1500. The WP2 was fine but I couldn't justify keeping both it and the
M100. As to the 1500, I couldn't see paying $1300 for an 8088 6 pound laptop
with CGA sceen when I got the 286 TI , 4 pound with VGA screen for $799.
