Subj: BOOSTER PAK'S DISK <F5> FUNCTIONS

 Hi, Drew,

 Gotta 'nother toughie, re: TPDD1 and LapDOS II.

 (1.) I've got a 102 with Booster Pak (version 1.23).  Can't get the Disk <F5>
or Backup <F6> functions to work using a friend's TPDD1.

 I tried it with DIP switch 1 On & Off (9600 & 19200 baud), but get nothing
other than "Drive Not Ready" message. I've also tried various settings for the
other DIP switches, without results.

 However, the 102/Booster Pak & TPDD1 combo works fine when I use FLOPPY.CO or
TINY.CO. DSKMGR will not work with my 102/Booster Pak, but works fine with my
stock Model 100.

 (2.) Similar problem using LapDOS II with a PC-to-Model 102 direct connection.
The Booster Pak manual says the Disk functions work when Desk Link is used with
a PC-to-Model 102 connection. No luck on mine.

 I thought LapDOS II served the same purpose as Desk Link. Am I on the wrong
track?

 I'd like to be able to backup the entire Booster Pak, with directories intact,
but can't figure out how to do this via LapDOS II.

 Thanks,

 <Lex>
