David: Sounds like one of the "fundamental" problems solved years ago. There is a program in our (4)Library, in the (2)Print category, called LFUTL.100 with LFUTL.DOC. Download, convert and run the LFUTL.100 program (e.e LFUTL.BA). It will turn back on what Tandy engineers turned off, i.e. the CR LF character pair used for proper printing and telcom work. When you hit <enter> on a Model "T" you generate only one of the two, ANSI defined characters used to mark the end of a paragraph. You get the ^M but not the ^J. In hex these are 0D 0A. In ASCII they are characters 13 and 10. Hmmm... I justed look at your account. Your solution is in you hands. On 6-24-96 you purchased the entire "The Whole Enchilada" document series. Please turn to page 6 of the document entitled, "Questions, Questions, Questions." There you will find a printout of the LFUTL.BA code. Simply key it in, check your work, and run it.
