Subj: BACK SLASH IN TELECOM

I have talked to an English ham who needs to be able to send a back slash
character for packet radio use. I know that it can be defined for one of the
function keys in Basic, but can anyone tell us how to do it for use inside
Telecom. I know the direct access program defines F6 and F7 to call Basic and
Text from inside Telecom, so I assume it can be done. Any help would be
appreciated.
