Lex: A couple of suggestions on using CIS:

1. Get away from the menus as quick as you can. You can set up you profile to
have only a brief prompt displayed. Then use the commands instead of navigating
thru the menus. Its really not that hard. Check out the help files. There was
also a file in the Model 100 forum (GO M100SIG) called FAST.DOC (I think) that
is a good explanation of the process.

2. Check out the PRACTICE forum. It's free and lets you get the hang of using
the commands to read messages and download files. They also have a file in the
library that lists all of the forums and the topics covered in the message
sections and libraries. Its a long document but it really helps planning your
on-line session.

CompuServe is expensive in my mind but I keep my subscription active because of
the tremendous breadth of the material on the system. While I do visit the
M100SIG, I find Club 100 to be more helpful and more friendly. Like Robert, I
prefer Genie's pricing and use it for general nation wide E-mail to write to
friends and relatives.

Hope this helps.
