You have a point, I always thought that the resident portion of DOS was in user
RAM because when I used the disk version it moved MAXRAM to a lower address but
I have noticed that the ROM version does not so you must be right... that shows
you how much I use the resident portion!  There are two ways to find the hooks;
one is to take a RAM dump from 62960 to 65535 with DOS-OFF and with DOS-ON, the
other is to examine a program that turns DOS-ON, such program is SPELL.BA which
is in the online library.  Strictly by accident I discovered that DMENU.BA from
POWR-DOS does too.  -=Robert=-
