Subj: TS-DOS COLD STARTS

I am having a new problem, cold starts when I try to access TS-DOS. Here's what
happens. Usually just after I've typed in some text, I'll go to TS-DOS to try
and compress the text before storing it on disk. I will either get the TS-DOS
reverse video display at the top of the screen and no menu, or a completely
blank screen. I usually have to press the button on the back of the Model 200
to clear the screen and start over. Once when I did that, a text story called
RECVR.DO appeared in the main menu of the Model 200. It contained everything
that was in the memory before I tried to go to TS-DOS. But when I tried to
compress it or break it up into separate items, I had a cold start. I've
removed all batteries from both the Model 200 and the TPDD2. Both are running
on current from their normal Radio Shack adapters, so I don't think it's a
power problem. I'm also hooked up to a Tandy DMP 107 printer, but I don't see
how that could figure into my problem. I haven't lost anything major yet, but
as soon as I write something now, I save it straight to disk. It seems I only
have the problem when I go back in
the system to compress or save. Any suggestions?
