Hi Dan:

I am the CO-SYSOP and Librarian, Rick has gone fishing so I'll give you some
feedback... the procedure for booting the TDD1 is a bit tricky however FLOPPY
has one feature that nothing else has, it can COPY disks! DSKMGR on the other
hand is much like TS-DOS but not nearly as good, meanwhile I suggest that you
try booting FLOPPY again. One of the tricks for a successful boot is to turn
the drive Off and then turn it back On after moving the dip switches to the ON
position for booting up. Next type in the IPL program found in the Help area
of the top menu on this BBS, the part in quotes is machine code so make sure
that you type those characters exactly as they appear! When you are finished
move the dip switches back to the OFF position and turn the drive Off and back
On again before trying to run FLOPPY.

Hope this makes for a successful boot eventually, Robert
