Rick, I noticed your note a few weeks back about a utility to change Multiplan
files to Lotus 123 format. I used to have a Model 4 and used Multiplan. After
I moved to MSDOS, I found that the Multiplan files wouldn't load into Lotus
format. Now that I've gotten a Macintosh, I have been able to port them over
to Lotus by way of Excel. As you know, Microsoft wrote Multiplan with the
ability to be saved into SYLK format for porting to other computer platforms. I
did this. Since Excel is an upgrade from Multiplan, it read the MP SYLK files
just fine. I was able to save the files in Lotus format and load them into
Lotus for the Mac, which can save them into Lotus format for MSDOS. Now I
have all my old files in Lotus format B-). Even with saving them into Excel
format, Lotus for the Mac can read the Excel spreadsheets.
