Subj: REPLY TO MSG #757 (FILE COMPRESSION)

First off, it's easy to inform me of your address change. You can call and
leave a message, fax a message, leave a message to me here online, or use the
(J)oin feature in the (8)Membership area to inform me of your change of
address, or upload a file to me in the (3)ElectMail (F)ile, or use carrier
pigons, or tell a friend to tell me, etc.

Here's an idea about accessing the TPDD2 occationally with a small program.
TS-DOS on disk give the user two methods of using the DOS. One method is to
have the TSLOAD.CO file in memory--very small-that calls the DOS100.CO--a much
larger file--when needed. Generally speaking, you would only have a small file
in your 102 most of the time; much like using TINY.

RAM expansion is a different story: You already own the "only" internal storage
available for the 102, i.e., extRAM. Yes, I am told that a "super extRAM" is
in the works. Rumor has it that it will be 128K. It's pretty close to being a
real product but, until EME Systems is completely satisfied with its
performance, no formal announcement will be made. I can say this much, Club
100 will carry the Super extRAM, or whatever Dr. Allen, CC&BW of EME Systems,
wishes to call his new, larger extRAM.

Hope this helps... -Rick-
