Actually, it is not the same bus connector, at least physically. It's a 48-pin
connector (DSUB style) about two inches inside the left side of the computer,
protected by a spring-loaded door. I can send you the pin-out if you would
like. It looks something like this:

        +------------------------------+
       / 1---------------------------47 \
      / 2---------------------------48 \
      +----------------------------------+

I don't remember exactly how many pins the M100/M200 system bus is, but I
didn't think it was 48 pins. I would really LOVE to see RAMpacs available for
the NEC, but it would require a change in the physical design of the unit.

I believe the I/O port mapping of the M100 and the NEC is similar, but I can't
say if the I/O signals would be pin-for-pin on the actual system buses.
<sigh....> In any case, let me know if you're interested in seeing the actual
pin-out of the NEC's system bus. As far as the Kyotronic 85 is concerned, I
really don't have any knowledge of the unit. My impression, though, is that it
is more similar to the M100 than the NEC design.

In any case, good luck.

Gary.
