Lex,
  It was a serious question.  I had yet to really look at LapDos and didn't
realize you could just use the T/PDD on the PC's COM port.  
  What I knew, was (is) that the MDL100 RS-232 port is DTE so the PDD must be a
DCE.  I also know the PC's COM port is DTE, so a full-null is needed when using
the MDL 100/102 at drive P but the PDD's own cable will suffice when using it
as drive P.
  
Now that I have been honest I have been improperly chatised and, as punishment,
have been made the owner of LapDos II and am not forced to use it meself.
