Jim ... CHECKALL/CHKALL sound interesting, and useful.  I can think of a number
of uses.  Slowness is a concern, though.  Perhaps it's time to explore machine
language.

As for specific modifications, perhaps you could access a PERAM.DO file that
contains changeable perameters.  The search program would look to the PERAM.DO
file for instructions, i.e. search RAM, multiple RAM banks, RAMPAC, TPDD,
TPDD2, or drive via DeskLink.

An alarm perhaps, or an auto dialer.  I'm limited in my scope of possibilities.
Others will have far better ideas.
