Subj: CHIPMUNKS, ANYONE?

Long, long, ago,
(Perhaps in a galaxy far, far, away, I know at least it was in another
lifetime), I heard mention of a a guy on a disabilities based BBS that he had a
Model 100 with a chipmunk drive. (I *think* it was the chipmunk drive?)

Anyway, he told me that instead of regular disks, this supposed "drive" took
something he called, "wafers."

Now I know this is a SUPER LONG SHOT, but I don't suppose there is ANY chance
that these so called "wafers" are in fact the two inch version of the 3.5 disk?
*Blink*

I have here a Zenith MiniSPORT laptop conmputer, IBM compatible, and the disk
that came with it (sadly, there was indeed only one) sure as heck DOES look
like it could be considered a "wafer" to me! It looks like a 3.5 floppy that
went through the dryer and shrunk.

What I need to know is where, if there is such a place, I can get MORE of
these? This laptop is SO adorable looking and quite functional and
satisfactory for my needs. But it needs more disks to be effective.

I don't suppose Rick would have some of these old beasties hanging around the
warehouse? *Blink* I'll gladly pay to take them off your hands, even
shipping. I am looking to get like, oh I don't know, 25 would be a good
number, if you could swing it. If not, has ANYONE ever SEEN these, and if so,
does ANYONE know where I can GET them? I have tried computer stores, camera
stores, and department stores. Everyone looks at me like I am crazy. Next
time I will take the damn disk with me to prove my sanity. Meanwhile, any help
would be appreciated.
