I am happy to report to all that I have had quite a lot of success with my 102
in the last two days. I got my rampac to do what it should be doing an d
recovered all it's "lost" or scrambled memory. I figured out how to keep the
write-rom image from confusing image transfer and even was able to get the
extram to swic
, make that switch over from a cold start which basicly is all that I think I
need to keep from making to much of a mess of things. I think that the trick is
for me to think a little before I go poking the keys doing things that I may
not want to do. It is amazing what a little forthought will do for ones level
of success on this here Model T. Any way I amnot as bead off as I thought I was
or at least I see that I am headed in the right direction. I think. I still
have a thousand questions but I am sure they will all come out in the wash. One
that pop into my head now is wht is it that I cannot "examine" a file in the
technical section while on line. I get something that a says the file is not
found and (or ?) not inthe .arc form. What does that mean? Anyway I feel that
I am over a hump and my Model T is begining to get me some joy again. I am
still looking forward to our meeting this weekend if you (Rick) have the time.
