The Model 100, etc. is able to send and receive data through the serial port
while in BASIC and TEXT. Here are some examples to consider:

Let's assume a 1200 baud speed in all examples. At 1200 baud our stat would be
58N1E.

To send in BASIC: SAVE"COM:58N1E"

To load in BASIC: LOAD"COM:58N1E"

To send in TEXT: Tap <f3> function key, enter COM:58N1E

To load in TEXT: Tap <f2> function key, enter COM:58N1E

I highly recommend playing around with baud rates to see what works and what
does not. As I recall, I used to use 600 baud for BASIC sends and loads, and
up to 19200 baud in TEXT. I used to do this level of file sharing between my
100 and my old Model III back in the early 80's while I was doing my masters
studies. I was the only one in my graduate school who used a computer for note
taking in class, and one of only a handful in the school who even owned a
computer, and the only one who owned more then one, or actually used a computer
for practical, daily work on a regular basis. And the kicker was... my fellow
graduate students and I were studying the field of "Information Management" in
an MBA program. Kind of makes you wonder, eh!

Anyway, play around with this idea and see what happens.
