Subj: MAKING $$ IN THESE HARD TIMES..

Rick:
In response to your "writers" query: who's hiring writers these days? The
answer is basically: nobody. Or photographers. Or art directors. All of
which I have been in times past. Not to mention a teacher, a counselor, a cook
and a dishwasher. I am writing a lot of proposal letters to a lot of companies
trying to drum up work as either a photographer or a designer. So far nada,
but that is typical for the free-lance life. Nothing, nothing, nothing then
one decent score, you pay all your bills then nothing, nothing...

when I can, then load them into my Mac Plus for editing and printing.
bought With regard to both the Mac and the Model 102: I am able to use them
fairly well, but am painfully aware that I don't really know much about the
actual workings of either, much like the fellow who climbs into a car, turns
the key and speeds off without understanding the mechanics involved. I have
read several books on the model 100 but gave up after several re-readings and
little comprehension. I am no dummy, but may just not be very good in whatever
part of my brain deals with this stuff.
With regard to your being swamped with calls and mail: its your own fault
for being so approachable. Truth. Just build a couples of layers of
beaurocracy and unpleasantness around you and I bet your calls taper right off.
Do you have kids or grandkids in the first to fourth grade? When I send
in my BBS guide and library $$$ I will enclose a copy of a children's book I
wrote and photographed last year about Eskimos. Maybe that will help with your
stress levels: someone giving YOU something!
                                        --non-stressfully yours,
