Subj: REPLY TO MSG #3936 (WHAT HAPPENED TO P100 BBS?)

Bob: Like I explaned in your last message. You purchased library access from
our club (Club 100: A Model 100 User Group) on 11-21-91. Your library access
expired at the end of November, 1992--two months ago. Your user log entry was
open to library access all that time, whether you used it or not it was held
here, open for use. Sir: I track these things diligently. If you never used
your library access status it's not my fault, thus you can not be mad with me;
only yourself. I have no control over how you track your purchases, or use the
products or services of this club.

The Portable 100 BBS is a service of Portable News, formally Portable 100
Magazine. I do not own that magazine or run their services. I am simply an
advertiser in their magazine to the tune of $1,500/month. Where in heaven's
name did you get the impression that I own Portable News, or that this BBS,
clearly stated each time you log on as "Club 100: A Model 100 User Group," is
the "Portable 100 BBS?"

I appreciate both your concerns and your business, dateing back to October 1st,
1990, Bob, but I don't want you, or anyone else to mistake Club 100 for
Portable News, nor feel, in any way, that I have misled them or cheated them.
I don't run my business that way, or I would have been out of business a long
time ago.

Thanks, again, for voicing your concerns. I hope I've cleared these up for
you. Your friend in computing... -Rick-
