Earl: You are not faced with a problem, coming online with your new 2400 baud
modem; at least not physically. Simply connect the modem to your Model 200 by
way of the RS232 connectors using a simple, straight through cable. Then, go
get a phone cord (RJ11 to RJ11) at the hardware store down on the corner.

To make a 2400 baud call from your Model 200 through your new modem, simply go
into TELCOM. Set your <f3>Stat to 68N1ENN <enter>. Enter <f4>Term, then issue
the command ATDT followed by the area code and phone number for the computer
you wish to call, e.g., ATDT15109391246 <enter>

As indicated, the word <enter> means tapping your <enter> key, not actually
keying in the word, <enter>.

Attention: You might not be able to place a data call through your office phone
system if it is a PBX, unless your PBX provides such service. Recommend you
check with your local PBX support person, or question anyone in your office
doing such work.

Hope this helps... -Rick-
