Dear Lex, O.K. 1st.. once all the wires/ports are filled in any unit, you can't put anything else there. therefore, the DVI won't work if you're using the Booster Pak. We're still working on a way to make the printer port echo to a dumb terminal for those of you who want the big screen. 2nd.. I didn't know they made a Booster Pak for the 102\, but glad they did. Memorize your recovery commands and write them down before letting Rick near the machine. 3rd.. the working space/RAM of the machine is 32k and no additional device is going to change that because the CPU-8085 is limited to 2 banks of 64k.....1 bank for all the Input/output ports (hardware) and 1 bank for all the memory (ROM and RAM). The Booster Pak and X-RAM and even the 200 swap banks of RAM (and sometimes ROM) to give you more memory in the box. Notice I said "in the box" and not "on line". Just like you can store files on a disk and bring them back to your workspace when you want to use them, the Booster Pak lets you store files in (what it calls) ram-DISK. Same concept. Hope this helps... -dB (Rick, You might note this message # and refer future questions of the same nature to this message. -d :}
