Tom ... welcome to the "past." You are on one of the the oldest, direct-dial
online services in the United States (AKA: BBS), Tom.

Allow me to address your concerns:

 > Like mike I am seeing what is available under this BBS vs what we
 > have on PCLD. Can e-mail messages be sent over the Internet like on

As you will see, this online service is "highly focused" on one topic, i.e.
Model "T" computing. Model "T" computers are Tandy/Radio Shack Model 100, 102
and 200 computers. We also cover Tandy WP-2 and NEC PC8201A computers but
these are very rare.

In short, you have walked into a club ... a click. We are what you read, and
you may read back many years into us (see (T)op menu, (N)ewsletter)

 > PCLD? If so, what is my Internet Address under Club 100? It should
 > be: Tom.Premo@club100.com

Tom ... yo Tom ... listen up, my friend! There ain't no "should be." This is
a direct-dial, stand alone system, i.e. a pure as the driven snow .. BBS! It
is not networked in any way whatsoever. This service is, in fact, the first
and last word in support for Model "T" computer owners ... period!

Using the words from a famous film...

 - Network?
 - We got no network.
 - We don't got to cho-you no stink'n network!

Replace the word "network" with the word "badges" and you'll get the reference.

 > Please reply to this message with a copy to me at PCLD, if possible.

Sorry dude, no can do. Sure, I will let you know that I posted a message here,
in reply to yours, but that will be the last time. If you want your mail from
this service you come back to this service.

Although this may seem harsh, at first blush, it is not. Your message and my
reply, and all those replys that may be generated to this message thread, make
up the "life" of this service. Afterall, the value of any online service is
not the service or the canned information there-on or in, but rather the
interaction of the people who contribute to the service. I said this back in
1979 and I say this in 1995/96. This "fact" has not changed and will not
change as long as humanity lives ... online! -Rick-
