Subj: REPLY TO MSG #3522 (DVI DISKS-->MSDOS TRANSLAT?)

Michael: The only DOS-based program capable of reading DVI disks is XENOCOPY by
Xenosoft, Inc., Berkeley, CA. The president and programmer is Fred Sison.
Fred is also a Club 100 member and a teacher at a local college. I helped Fred
get Xenocopy DVI compatible back in the 80's. I used it, for awhile, to make
DVI copies of our mail order library. The only drawback to Xenocopy is that it
will only move the .DO files; not .BA or .CO. That was not a big problem,
however, since I simply copied the .DO versions of the .BA's. I believe that
Xenocopy is still available but it will probably cost about $150 a copy. That
is what I paid Fred back in the 80's... then had to help him make it work. Oh
well, such is life in Yuppyville. :)
