----- Bob: Here is the file you need to switch between two .CO files and not receive a cold start. You'll need to edit the name of the two .CO files into lines 2 and 3. Then, edit the TOP number of the .CO files into lines 1000 and 2000. To gain the TOP number of a .CO file, simply go into BASIC and do a LOADM"filename where "filename" is the name of the .CO file you're interested in. This command will bring you 3 numbers (TOP, END, EXE). Not the TOP number. 0 REM CO2CO.BA by Rick Hanson 04-Sep-92 1 CLS:PRINT:PRINT"Clear himem for .CO file operation..." 2 PRINT"1 - Clear for DUET.CO" 3 PRINT"2 - Clear for BARCDE.CO" 4 PRINT"3 - Just clear..." 5 Z$=INKEY$:IFZ$=""THEN5 6 IFZ$="1"THENGOTO1000 7 IFZ$="2"THENGOTO2000 8 IFZ$="3"THENGOTO3000 9 GOTO5 1000 CLEAR0,MAXRAM:CLEAR256,xxxxx:MENU 2000 CLEAR0,MAXRAM:CLEAR256,yyyyy:MENU 3000 CLEAR0,MAXRAM:MENU To capture this message to a file to a stock Model 100, 102, or 200, simply tap your <f2> function key, enter the name CO2CO and hit <enter>. Next, select the <A>gain feature from the menu below. This entire message will once again appear. Once you come back here, simply tap your <f2> function key, once again, to close the file on your end. After you log off you will see a file called CO2CO.DO. Select the code from that file, and paste it into BASIC. Then, SAVE"CO2CO to make the .BA version. That's it. Good luck! -Rick-
