Oh ... bummer, dude!  Yep, tape has its faults.  Here's a few tips when using
tape for storage from a Model 100.

1) Use only a CCR-82.  This unit has a square wave circuit and a "P" for
program marked on the volume dial so you know when you're into square wave.

2) Always save your file to more then one tape media each time to double your
chances of getting a good save.

3) Always read your file back from the tapes to make sure they're stored
correctly.  This, of course, is a bit tricky if your file is so big that two
copies can not fit in RAM concurrently.

4) Buy a TPDD or TPDD2 with TS-DOS and get away from tape.
