You either need another keyboard or keyboard translation chip.  You might find
a common trace to all the keyboard problems ... cracked and might be fixable.
It is quite common to have keys go bad.  You simply desolder the old key and
solder in a replacement.

The best way to start your check-out of your troubled system si to replace the
keyboard with another and see if the problems go away.  If they do, then you
know it's the keyboard and not the chip.
