---- Yes, a monster indeed. I enjoyed my Model 4 way back when. It was a good, dependable machine. You are faced with learning a command driven operating system. This is good. Most of all the commands deal with file maintenance. TRSDOS 6.2.0, like those before it, has a built in batch language. That's a good thing to learn, as well. There used to be a publication called Computer News 80 that covered the Model I, III and 4 series. I recommend contacting them. I used to advertise Club 100 in their publication with success. Here's their info: Computer News 80 1220 Jamaica Casper WY 82602 307-265-6483 Ron Gatlin and Stan Slater - editors So, you too didn't get the TAPE100 to work, either! I always knew it didn't work. I'd stop trying with that one if I were you. Using the TPDD as a disk drive to the Model 4 sounds interesting. I'm sure the Model 4 can be programmed to access the drive but not directly as one of its devices. You'll have to devise something like a LAPDOS for the Model 4--and I never knew of one, sorry. Good luck... -Rick-
