Well, well... look what the dog dragged in. If it's not the one and only "Nuge" of Portable 100 fame ... and fortune ... and Tri-Mike Network East! Ahhhmmm... what e-mail? You mean "inter-dorkey-net" e-mail? Even though you post the e-mail at www.the-dock.com/club100.html, it comes over to our BBS site... The Dock BBS @ 510-676-5359. It does take about 24 hours for it to show up, though. We gateway our mail to and from Holonet in Berkeley, CA, about 4 times a night between 5pm and 8am ... when the rates are the lowest. I may be crazy but I am not "totally" stupid. :) Hey... here's some jokes via the "nut" from Larry Berg. I've pipped it over to this BBS by magic ... sysops can do anything! --- Msg#:36530 *INTERNET* 06-20-96 19:54:51 From: PURPLE@CDSNET.NET To: RICHARD HANSON (Rcvd) Subj: JOKES? just in case you have not heard it... The reason hot-rod owners raise the backs of their cars is that it's easier to go faster when you're always going downhill. When a cat is dropped, it always lands on its feet, and when toast is dropped, it always lands with the buttered side facing down. I propose to strap buttered toast to the back of a cat; the two will hover, spinning inches above the ground. With a giant buttered cat array, a high-speed monorail could easily link New York with Chicago. --- BTW... Larry has a web site: http://home.cdsnet.net/~purple --- I sent a box to you by ups ground. You'll get it in about a week. I will send green stuff when I get green stuff for the rest of ...the stuff! Light's green. Got'a go! -Rick-
