As I was Rummaging around with everything, I found the "Teach Me" tapes and I played both of them. Now I know a little more than I did. For instance, not only is there a phone in it, but an answering machine as well! :) In the long run, though, it is really very weak. It seems to be designed pretty much exclusively for the person who is running a small business. There really is no one else who could have use for such a thing as this. How fortunate for me that I have been very seriously considering starting a business of my own. I have also been looking at Windows business software, and I have found none that I like. I loaded a few of the cash flow programs into memory from tape and I loved them! :) Simple, straightforward, hell even a guy like me can understand how it works. So I think I may have found a use for this. In fact it motivates me to get my business up and running. I have been looking at small businesses for a long time now. I have bought into a few franchises (at considerable cost) and they have led to loss, not profit. From this disaster, I concluded that to succeed in a small business, you are best off designing and building the business YOURSELF, not relying on what someone else has done. So... Make way for what was (up till now) a hobby to become a business. What is it you ask? I have been for the past year writing...dog biscuit recipes. :) All but one of them are a tremendous hit with dogs. (The one that failed was a peanut butter flavored one. I haven't figured out where I went wrong. Dogs LOVE peanut butter. I need to look over my ratio on that one, I think.) The favorite of all of them, of course, has been my exclusive "Cheese/Bacon" flavor. Not a dog I tried it on could resist it. I have been studying canine nutrition as well. No doubt that these biscuits are not only NOT loaded with the chemicals, artificial colors, flavors and preservatives that you get from storebought, but they are probably healthier than anything you had to eat today. They are probably healthier than the dogs main meal. I have a dog and I care about her health deeply. That is how I got into creating healthy, but tasty, yummies for dogs. Several flavors to choose from. The name of the company will be, "No Bones About It." Catchy, yes? I will advertise and give free samples during my tours and also by mail order. Now that I have a way to keep track of everything for old Uncle Sam, maybe it is time to get the business off the ground. :) stc If you have a dog and you would like a sample, I will be happy to send it to you. Least I could do after such a thoughtful gift.
