Good question. Yes, there's lot's of talk about moving Lucid's .CA spreadsheet files to and from DOS machines, i.e., using Lapdos II, having to rename the .CA file to .CO, first, etc. We even have utility programs in our library that will convert the "strange" Lucid .CA format into something usable by other spreadsheet programs. As far as I know, we have never talked about moving Lucid .CA files to and from a Mac via 100duet (the upgrade to Macdos II, formally by Traveling Software). The honest truth is that I, personally, do not use Lucid, nor do I use Macs. Yes, I could if I wanted. I just don't. There may be others here online that do. Perhaps they can help. Lucid's .CA file extension will probably need changing to .CO for 100duet to work correctly. You may use Rick Perry's program, CHANGE.BA, to do the rename. Lastly, Lucid's spreadsheet files are no ASCII. And, I do not know of any commercial conversion utilities. However, you will find the program LUCNV.BA and docs in our library for converting Lucid files to ASCII for use in Lotus 1-2-3. Hope this helps... -Rick-
