Hello, Tracy. It's not necessary to upload the loader programs for me or to summarize how to put in a ROM image. I discovered, to my pleasant surprise, that it's possible to load a ROM image directly from another Model 100 to the XR4. Since I have another Model 100 that has the TS-DOS ROM in it, I just did a direct connect after typing in the appropriate programs. Question: If I do want to save that TS-DOS image to the PDD, does that require saving it from a Model 100 that has the XR4 software in it, or can I save it directly to the TPDD from the Model 100 where the TS-DOS chip is planted? If that isn't possible, can I save the image that has been transported to the XR4 Model 100, or does saving it to disk require the presence of the real chip? I guess an alternative would be to save it from the Model 100 that has the TS-DOS chip in it to my MSDOS computer for later available transport to the XR4 Model 100, should that need arise. Can saving it to an MSDOS computer be done using standard telecommunication software, or is something else necessary? I guess that question would be answered by reading more of the manual. I suppose the image, once saved, could be copied to a TPDD disk using LAPDOS. You have an amazing product. As I watched the image go from one Model 100 to another, I was fascinated. I have been happy with XR4 as extra RAM banks, but now that I have ROM imaging in there, I think it's great. TTYL.
