Subj: REPLY TO MSG #5528 (MANY THANKS)

In fact, downloading messages for reading off-line is "the way to fly!"

The concept remains the same for all computer terminal programs ... only the
keystrokes differ. For a stock Model 100, 102, or 200, the <f2>down function
key is used. Simply tap <f2>, respond with a filename (do not include an
extension), and hit <enter>. From that point forward, until you either tap
your <f2> function key again to close the open file, or log off, the file you
opened will capture all the data that comes to your screen.

If, however, you are online with a non-Model 100 computer, then again, the
concept remains the same ... only the keystrokes differ. With PROCOMM, for
instance, you would tap the <pgdn> key, reply with a filename, or
path\filename, or path\filename.extension, and hit <enter> to open a capture
file. And, again, until you close that file or log off, all the comes to your
scree will also go into that file.

There are other was and tricks but The above will get you going. And thank you
for the compliment, sir. -Rick-
