Subj: LOADING PROGRAMS

I'm having a hard time figuring out how to load a long program into basic. I
use a Booster Pak with plenty of memory, however each workspace holds only
about 29K. Unless I'm missing something, the program must be in the workspace
in order to load it into basic...but the length of the program is taken away
from space available in basic. For example, a 20K program leaves me 9K
available in basic. I get an OM message before the program is half loaded! I've
been able to load in long programs tediously by using the SLICER program I
found in the loibrary (thanks John Gaudreault!) This requires breaking each
program into tiny pieces and then cut/pasting each slice into basic, and then
erasing each pasted slice from the workspace to free up the next chunk of
memory. There must be an easier way. Richard? Anybody? Marty Pekar
