The format of the RAMPAC is not dependant on the computer. It may be used by a 102, 200 or 100 with an adaptor cable (since the expansion bus is different). Let's see... perhaps I should cover how to reserve himem RAM for the running of .CO files. RAMDSK.CO, like any .CO file, runs from a specific set of addresses in HIMEM but the amount of space to clear is not random. Each .CO file requires a different number. Here's how you determin the number: Go into BASIC LOADM"RAMDSK <enter> You'll get three numbers. The number referred to as the "Top" number is what you want to remember. CLEAR0,MAXRAM <enter> CLEAR256,XXXXX <enter> Enter the "Top" number in place of the XXXXX above. Now, when you place your bar cursor over the RAMDSK file it will run; not beep at you.
