Drew and Richard,
Yes, I'm looking for something that will do all of the decoding of the RTTY
and/or CW in software. Most of the programs I've seen for the M100//T200
require the user to have an external terminal unit of some sort to do the
actual tone decoding. The laptop is just used as a dumb terminal. I'm looking
for something I can just plug the audio from the radio into the cassette port
and have the software decode the mark/space tones into RTTY (or tones into CW).
Is this what the software Richard is referring to will actually do? Or is it
just another dumb terminal program?
And, yes, I've seen the baudot transmit program, but the one I have just keys
the cassette on/off. It uses either the POKE or the basic MOTOR ON/OFF
commands. I'd really like to find something that actually sends the correct
tones out the cassette "audio-out" port. (If that part is actually possible.)
