In reply to... > Hi, nice board. I'll join -- guess I'll get the address in the > catalogue. Relax. You have joined! Joining is just a matter of name and address and BINGO ... you are joined. Club 100 does not charge dues. We are totally supported by mail order sales and good will. > I've got 2 8201s and a few strange periperals, inclusing a rampack > that must have been part of Metropollitan Life Insurance Agent's kit. That's great. The RAMPAC is an expensive item. Take good care of it and always back up your RAMPAC files to another medium for long term storage and desaster recovery. We have RAMPAC-specific files online. Just look around. Some may be in the library. Access to the online library is just $12 for the entier year. Funds received go directly to keeping this BBS online. > Q on the boosterpacks: Would the Ram chips work in a WP-2? No way, Jose! Good try, though. > Are they 28 pin? I think there's more to it than just the number of pins. But then, I've bee wrong before. Perhaps another Club 100 reader here on the BBS will chime in with a solution or idea. > If so, I'd buy a pack just for the chip, unless you've got > any single chips laying around ! Hey ... I've got tons of Booster Pac RAM chips laying around. You're weling to try one if you want. > Oh well. Nice board. Can't wait to see THE WHOLE ENCHALADA. And thank you ... and welcome aboard as a new member to Club 100. The club is your club. Use it and grow it as fits you best. You'll find some very nice, fellow Model "T" users here. At your service... -Rick-
