Lex, Oh yes indeed, many have used the Mdl 100/102 as controllers from weather stations (see ads in Portable 100 for the OWL system data recorders) to lighting control (I haven't published that one yet) to stepper motor controllers (ever seen a half-dozen Easter eggs dancing and rapping to "Heard It On The Egg-Vine"?) to an 8-port In/Out interface that plugs in the RS-232 port for $200 (also advertized in Portable 100). A lot of what you were looking for has alread been incorporated into BSR X100 (Plug'n'Power) system. DAK catalog always has a good spread on the full range of modules and, since one of the controllers is programed from an RS-232 port, you should be able to interface well. Any specific questions on interface circuitry? I'll give them my full attention. -dB
