Reginald: Got your message regarding your stuff and your wanting to download
directly to your TPDD. Well buddy, I've got some good news and some bad news.
First, the good news. Sounds like you've got real good deal on a very useful
configuration of stuff. The bad news is that you may not download directly to
your TPDD. Sorry!

The Modem and the TPDD are both serial devices. And although they look like
they are separate devices they share a common device inside your Model 100,
i.e., the UART (universal asychronous receiver transmitter). The UART "is" the
serial port. Before the UART is the mother board (the computer) and after the
UART are your serial-accessed devices. The UART can only work with one serial
device at one time, i.e., either the modem or the serial port where you connect
your TPDD.

You "might" be able to download to your other banks, depending on if you have
the RAM+ ROM installed your Model 100. The RAM+ ROM came with the PCSG RAM
bank--manufactured by American Cryptronics in Costa Mesa, CA. Break out the
RAM+ manual and read about cross-bank programming.

That's all for now. Welcome aboard... hope this helps. -Rick-

PS: I moved your message to me and this reply into the (1)Conference for group
discussion. Perhaps other online members will want to jump into this thread.
