You've noted what I've noted with regards to Lapdos II use. I like using my
laptop in the field, storing work to a TPDD or TPDD2 as I go along. I usually
keep a TS-DOS ROM in my laptops since I dump all my work over to my DOS
computers for finished processing when necessary. Then, when I get back to the
place, I simply use the TPDD to DOS connection and Lapdos II to move the files
from the TPDD's media to a DOS media (floppy or hard disk).

What's always in my mind is my phrase, "Practice safe computing!" I connually
think about protecting my system and my data. Especially my data. Whenever
possible, I back my data off onto storage media for safe keeping, even during
processing. Sure it take a bit longer but it's a lot safer. -Rick-
