I've UPLOADed "SEXY.BA", which is a conversion program to allow the ASCII
graphic to be displayed on the LCD panel of my Model 100. It uses the
"SEXY.DO" file, also in the upload area, as data. If you examine my program,
you will see how I reduce the data from a set of ASCII characters into a
probability density function. I did this, rather than convert directly to
PSET/PRESET, to keep some of the information carried by the original variety of
characters. This is a similar to the quantization process used when converting
a grey-scale image into an ASCII glyph. Another feature of my program is that
it corrects for the different aspect ratios; the LCD is 1-to-1, whereas a
printer normally prints glyphs which are 5x8, for example. Since I use the RND
function, the fact that I reuse some data lines to stretch the image is masked
in the final picture, although it is quite evident when one watches the picture
being drawn.

I'd considered writing a general-purpose ASCII-to-LCD program, but since there
was only the one data file available, I thought I'd save my energy. :)
