"Inside the Model 100", by Carl Oppedahl, mentions on page 171 an idea to have
the computer digitally synthesize the human voice, by sampling the input
signal's zero crossings....
 
In the program library, there is a "Jingle Bells" program that plays music with
three voices, through the cassette interface!
 
In theory, how would one go about designing a program to send DMTF tones
through the acoustic coupler?  I haven't noticed any documentation about how to
send sounds through that device....
 
Let me know your ideas.  :) [It may result in a better TELCOM program; one that
actually uses the state of the DIR/ACP switch to advantage.]
