I understand your request. You would like a program that would copy a template file to another file. Here's an idea off the top of my head that will get you started. Given an input file named TEMP.DO, we will make a copy called NEW.DO. Of course, it would be wise to rename the NEW.DO file to something else, either as it's made or afterwards, so the NEW.DO file is not always being overwritten. You can play with that item later.
