Jay: Your question lacks content. For some reason you think I can read your mind. I have no idea what you've asked but will assume some possibilities. You say you have a 1000 RLX--this is a DOS machine--and a Model 100, and you want to know if you can use some program--of course you don't say "what" program you're talking about and may even mean data not programming but again you don't say--from your Model 100 on "it"; assuming you mean your DOS computer. Here are some possibilities: My records indicate that you have a Model 100, TPDD, TS-DOS ROM, and library access. If, "can you use TS-DOS on your DOS computer" the answer is no. If, "can you use any of the built in ROM-based programming on your DOS computer" the answer is no. If, "can use any of the program you download from the library on your DOS compuer" the answer is some yes, most no, and perhaps yes. - yes, if it's a space-delimited, non-100-specific BASIC program--we refer to this type as basic BASIC--and you have GWBASIC on your DOS computer. GWBASIC came with DOS v4.1 - no, for all the other programming - perhaps yse, depending on your programming skills If, "can you transfer files between your Model 100 and your DOS computer" and answer is yes via Lapdos II. You may also transfer files to and from your TPDD and your DOS computer with Lapdos II. In fact, why don't you just purchase Lapdos II and discover something wonderful you've been missing all these years. You know I've talked over and over and over again about the power of Lapdos II. It's been in ever catalog, and was listed as our #1 program in the Club 100 1992 Catalog. (see catalog sent to you with your 9-5-92 order for details) If you get Lapdos II you will be able to move .DO (ASCII), .BA (Tokenized Microsoft BASIC programming), and .CO (Machine language 8085 code) to and from your laptop devices and your DOS computer. The .DO files will be quite helpful since they may contain anything from text to delimited data, ready to import directly into spreadsheets and databases. As for .BA and .CO files, Lapdos II allows you increased freedom to download from the BBS via your faster DOS computer, then transfer your downloaded .BA and .CO files to your Model 100 for conversion and use. I'll stop here since the above is the basics. Is the answer to your question somewhere in my response? Hoep this helps... -Rick-
