Ron -

The NEC 8201 & 8300 have the exact same system bus connector.  It's actually a
"cartridge" type of slot on the side of the unit.  NEC made a video interface
for it (I believe), as well as two flavors of RAM cartridges: 32K and 128K
(bank switched with a hard switch).  The "PIC-Disk" connected to the NEC using
this system bus as well, however the NEC PC-8231 Disk drive used the RJ-45
"Disk Drive" port on the back of the machine (which was just a multiplexed
serial connector).

I can photo-copy the technical docs I have for the NEC's system bus connector
if you'd like.

I'll work on getting a zero-fingerprint for the 8300.
