Good question, "What is the Model 200?" Compared to the Model 100/102, the
Model 200 has a 1200 baud, 16 chr by 40 line LCD, full-key arrow keys, comes
standard with 24K RAM, expandable by 2 more 24K RAM banks (bank switching
software built in), has a tone dialing modem, has built-in VT52 emmulation, and
the LCD is a pop-up unit. There are, of course, many technical details under
the skin, but it looks and acts much like a Model 100/102, complete with BASIC,
TEXT, TELCOM, etc. The Model 200 does come with the Multiplan spreadsheet
built-in as well.

Tandy priced the Model 200 way too high and thus did not sell as many of the
200's as they did the 100/102's. A used Model 200 with all 3, 24K banks will
run from $325 - $450 on the open market. Model 200's are nice computers to
own, regardless of the price. Most all of our ROM software is available for
the Model 200.

If you're interested, I have an extra Model 200 sitting here on consignment for
sale. Asking price is just $350. -Rick-
