10/17/91 RICHARD HANSON...SYSOP I've discovered a problem with my TS-DOS in ROM. From a dead (cold) start, entering MSPLAN and answering the "file to use?" prompt with a number (0-9) would normally get a "beep", then the screen blinks and asks again. It won't let you enter a number as the file name in other words! If I call up the TS-DOS (CALL 61167,2) onto the MENU and turn on the resident portion, then go back to MSPLAN and enter a number (0 IS THE WORST) for the file name, my 200 locks up and stays that way!!! The only way I can unlock her is to turn off the memory switch and then hold reset for a few seconds (total cold start)! Shift/break or any keys do nothing at all!!! Even fast or slow pressing reset doesn't help. Is this normal? I don't use MSPLAN (except to list my 30 VHS tape library) so it's no big deal. Just thought it shouldn't do dat! Try it on another 200 to see if it's my TS-DOS or 200 or what. Thanks... John Russo PS- How can I dissable all the function, print, label and paste keys during a program?
