There you go. You cleaned it and it's working. You are probably the only
person to have opened that case and cleaned anything in that machine since it
left the factory. Nice going. Now, when was the last time you cleaned all the
other electronic devices in your house? I bring this up only to make a point
for all those reading this thread; and not you, personally. Computer, and all
the other electronic devices, as well as all the machnical devices in our life
must be maintained--constently!

Take computers, for instance. Most folks have only used, or owned, a micro
computer. And, most folks never clean their computer on a regular basis, if at
all. Attention: Cleaning should take place regularly, like once a month. The
computer is opened up and washed down and/or blown out with an electronic wash.
Connectors are also cleaned in this manner. Cleaning keeps the computer
running cool; if not running at all. In a "professional shop" you'll find a
maintenance crew or person who's entire job is cleaning. In fact, whole
companies exist to service the cleaning issue of computers and computing
facilities. But micro computers were never presented as "professional"
computers; and thus the obligations of use were never presented, as well. I
share this with you and the others in an attempt to improve your system use.

Hope this helps... -Rick-
