RE: "Now, to keep this discussion brief, and in contex with Model "T"
computing, how can we use our Model "T"s to help us "muster" the attitude to
"master" our overwhelm ... or otherwise, keep from falling into the "got too
much to do to do anything at all" trap?"

How 'bout a TIMEBOMB for those TO.DO lists or other ASCII files. Assuming you
use first line for DATE you last modified it, TIMEBOMB compares current DATE$
with DATE line in every ASCII file it can find. Where current DATE$ exceeds
DATE line by more than "BOMB-GO-BOOM" value (e.g., a month), TIMEBOMB kills the
file.

So if it didn't show progress within the "BOMB-GO-BOOM" span of time then the
ASCII file is no longer around to annoy and remind you of some task which has
not been attended to for some time. Hence, the "electronic pile" gets smaller.
What'cha think?

I've used a TIMEBOMB on IBM-PC files. Never applied a TIMEBOMB to Model-T
files.
