Having a BBS list online is a good idea. Storing it in the (7)Upload area is a
natural place cause members may delete any file they upload and re-upload a
replacement.

BBS lists used to be a BIG deal back in the per-commercial-internet days (circa
1980's). And, if I recall, there used to be one big source for lists that we
all used, along with other, smaller sources. In fact, it was a pride for
sysops to be a source for "the list" and be noted as a list keeper ... on yet,
another list ... the list of list keepers! Amazing!

Could it be that BBSes are on a come back? Does a list of BBSes still exist?
Will Superman ever marry Lois Lane? Can lead actually be turned into Gold?
These and other mysteries may soon be answered. Oh my... I'm getting excited!

I would rather not put "any" other information at the log off. When people
want to log off they should not be asked, "Are you sure?" or made to wade
through a ton of stuff. As it is, the log off text is too much. Besides, I'd
have to make any changes to that text ... it's not interactive.

I think the "best" idea is one where "you" control the information ... that the
online service [the bbs] is just a platform not a dictate. Yeah, I know, I
play a major role around here but believe me, I'd rather be in the background,
enjoying and learning. -Rick-
