That location in memory normally (after a warm start or upon entering BASIC) points to location A0h in ROM, which is the "U" in the RUN command in the table that translates from tokens to commands. So it is the byte after the RUN token. I don't know what to make of it. The trick works so nicely when exiting BASIC with the END statement--as you advised--it executes the commands in the string pointed to. Neat. It doesn't work if you exit from BASIC with the MENU command. It just types some garbage on the commmand line. Neat trick. I'll order your program disk!! -- Tracy
