Remove the LCD Display Connector Cover
Set the laptop in front of you, with the lid open as if you were going to use it. Grab the display with one hand on either side.
Press your thumbs in the middle of the connector cover, the tips of your thumbs touching, centered horizontally, and positioned close to the LCD display vertically. Push in to unlatch, and down to separate the connector cover from the LCD panel.
